… got me two beautiful and unexpected Pandora charms!
Although I have been (not so) patiently “waiting” for our committment to be confirmed by an engagement, the last week or so I have been realizing how much I love my Boyfriend or Best Friend and how appreciative I am of him. It’s easy to just be thinking about weddings and engagements and forget about why you are really feeling this way when you are waiting for that engagement.
I truely love my Boyfriend or Best Friend and I know that we will be getting engaged soon; he said we’d be engaged by the time I start school in November! Just advice for other waiting bees, don’t be so caught up in getting engaged but let it come naturally and have fun with your SO while “waiting”!

Amen sister! I have definitely found that being more relaxed and PRESENT during the waiting period has made a huge difference with SO and I. I’m sure that my impatience/obsession/anxiety was affecting the way that I interact with him–even if I didn’t mean for it to. Now, I just focus on maximizing every second of the time that we spend together. And the results have been positive. We went ring shopping on Sunday, discussed budget and practiced our “first dance” on Wednesday night spontaneously in the living room. I think when you let go of the “waiting anxiety” you can remember to be the fun, independent and cool woman that he fell in love with. THAT is what makes him want to marry you more than all of the interrogation and suspicion.
Happy waiting, my friend….:-)

Thats a really sweet present – though I find it a big tease if my SO ever bought my jewellery that wasn’t an engagement ring..
Why as independent, modern women do we want this ring so badly?!
