heytherebrittany :  hi bee, have you searched the boards for the moissanite Chinese vendors? Worth having a look if you are exploring your options. Search for starsgem, Provence and Tianyu.

I don’t have any moissanites to share, sorry. I have owned one in the past and can vouch for their beauty and sparkle.

Good luck ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve heard good things about moissanite co and tianyu. There’s a stone from Moissy Co that a lot of people swear by, it was something something 2000(?) I went with a colorless C and C H and A, myself. I LOVE it

heytherebrittany :  they do not. They have instagrams which you can browse but they only post some of the custom work they make for people. You can contact them and ask for photos or anything you are interested in.

There are active threads about these vendors where people are getting things made and updating etc.

I have a moissaniteco ring, I like it. I know there are threads of people claiming to have had poor experiences with them, but our experience was great. I feel like, they sell a lot of rings and are one of the cheapish options, so it makes sense that a small percentage of people aren’t happy. That being said, we recently bought a (non-moissanite) ring for my mother in law for her birthday through Sapheena on etsy, and she was absolutely perfect to deal with and very reasonably priced. If my engagement ring got lost tomorrow and I had to buy a new one I’d go to her.

I guess I’m not understanding something. You want a moissanite ring which is already a great way to save money. But it’s still too expensive? You have choices. You dont require a ring to be engaged, or you can buy a preowned ring. Preowned is your best bet to save $$.

If you like the vintage of older cuts with large facets, I cannot recommend August Vintage enough! I have a vintage cushion cut from him and I adore it. I get compliments on it more than I do my wedding set, the light really bounces off of the chunky cuts.

heytherebrittany :  No such thing as a stupid question! I got my stone from the jeweler, they ordered it for us. An independent jeweler will set stones that you bought on your own. I remember there was another thread about a customer service related problem with Moissanite and Co.

If all the moissanite you find are outside your budget, Russian CZ looks really nice.
