I’m glad you two communicated.  Putting yourself in a financial bind for your wedding is truly not the wisest thing to do.  We’re saving huge by doing the civil ceremony at city hall (only about $1,000 for wedding ceremony) and then having the intimate reception for family and close friends (no more than 50 people).  Communicate is KEY to everything in a relationship, especially a marriage.  Good luck with the extra days to plan and save.  It should work out for the best.

Glad you two were able to communicate and come up with a solution.  It sucks you have to push the date again, but compromising and not being in huge debt is a big key to making your new marriage work.  Congratulations!

Good for the two of you!  I’m also glad you worked thru this.  And this gives more wiggle room and time to really plan and budget.

It sure stinks that you had to change your date again, BUT if you look on the bright side with the extra time you might have time to find even better deals and save money by DIYing projects!
