I always love cathedral veil. I think veil is something personal preference. Plus, it depends on your venue. Are you going to have outdoor wedding? Then a cathedral veil maybe not the best for you.

I don’t like birdcage… again this is personal preference.

I think hair and veil really depend on your venue and the formality of your wedding, but I think an updo would look lovely with that dress, regardless.

Sadie, I am also going to be wearing the WToo Mimi!  It is a beautiful dress, although it’s been a while since I have seen it in person so I am getting a little nervous!  I am thinking I am probably going to wear my hair down with a cathedral-length veil . . .

Excited to finally see another bride that is wearing this dress!

With that dress you can do whatever you like best since both options (for the veil and hair) will look good.

If you do an updo – go for a longer veil

if you leave your red hair down (and as a fellow redhead- I’m in favor of this!) go with the birdcage, but make sure it’s a small birdcage that just puffs over your eyes, rather than a bubble veil that covers your face!

I will definitely post a photo at some point when the dress comes in – I have been so busy lately that wedding planning has taken a back seat, but I know I’ll be getting back into it very soon.

As for hair/veil, I am planning to wear my hair either down or half-down, curled, sort of like the model’s hair.  The dress doesn’t have much detailing on the top, so I felt like I want some dramatic hair to keep the entire look interesting.  I think I am going to wear a cathedral veil too, just because it’s such a dream of mine to have that long veil – and that’s what the wedding day is all about!

I am also not wearing the flower until the reception, so that I can have a bit of a different look, and also because I will be carrying a bouquet that will give me lots of flowers right at the waist during the ceremony anyway.

Can’t wait to hear your plans, you are the only other real bride I’ve found online as well.  Enjoy the holidays!

I AM WEARING THIS DRESS TOO. I am wearing my hair up and curly. THe veil is very light weight and simple. This allows me to go a little more dramatic on the hairpiece.

So pretty!

What do you think about this one?  It isstyle #140 from twigsandhoney.com…

I love the length for your dress, and love how the petals would connect with your dress, but not scream “flowers.”

I’m wearing this dress, too!!  My hair was down when I tried it on, and I really fell in love with that look.  But I know my hair will just go flat and tangly if I leave it ALL down, so I’m going to do half up like several of you mentioned.

As for the veil, I tried it on with a ribbon-edged cathedral veil, and it looked GREAT.  I’m not usually a fan of the ribbon edge, but it looked really really nice.  Even if I don’t go with the ribbon edge, though, I’m definitely going to do a cathedral length veil for the ceremony.  It looked so beautiful with this dress.  I’m thinking birdcage or big fascinator for the reception.

Great dress, I’m glad to find other bees who are wearing it!!  I might have to PM some of you for bustle advice 🙂
