Not to be mean, but does anyone else who reads YHL, think all this talk about the new book, is affecting their blog content?
Every blog entry I read says something like: well because of the book…oh the book is so much work…oh the house is chaos, because of the book.

@coffeegal85: Hahaha I agree. I love YHL but in some ways I think it’s not the same as it was back when they were in their first house and I miss that.

Ive been a little disappointed in their blog lately. I used to check it atleast once a day, but lately its just been a little…boring?

I love John and Sherry, which is why I don’t want to post anything negative directly on their blog. I think alot of the people feel the same way…but yes, their blog has been disappointing lately. Too many “filler” posts.
I don’t think that they realize long time readers are no longer checking daily (like me). And if people become disinterested before the book launch, the book isn’t going to be quite as popular as they expect.

I can’t read YHL. I wish I could stay home and write a blog with my (future) hubby, so when I read it I get too jealous! Happy for them that they are writing a book. Sad that it sounds like it is changing their content.

It makes me sad to say that I’ve been a little let down lately, too. I used to obsessively read YHL but I agree that it’s just not the same. I totally understand that they have to stock pile a few posts to keep things going up in a timely manner but I’m pretty much over the “oh by the way we did this like months ago and have been too occupied with the book to blog about it yet” posts. It’s just not as interactive feeling as it used to be. I still check it once or twice a week or so, though.
