What photographers would you hire if you had a bigger budget?  That should help us get a sense for your general style!

I second Erica Lyn! I looked at her initially then gave her a second look after finding out Miss Gloss is going with her. The Fiance really likes her style as do I, she has more of a artistic style in my opinon. A different creative edge over your atypical wedding photographer.

Her travel fees are VERY reasonable and she’s really great to get along with. From what I understand October is a busy month for her though but definitely try contacting her. Wouldn’t hurt! 🙂

Good Luck!

Hi! Not to be redundant, but I’m using Erica Lyn as well!  Highly recommend!

Good luck!

I’m getting married in Brooklyn the next day and we’re using Aaron Almendral. His rates are incredibly reasonable and he came highly recommended from a friend of the family. You should check him out. Good luck!

Check out my photographer, vanessajoy.com (blog http://vanessajoyphotography.blogspot.com/).

My fiance and I recently took NYC engagement photos with her.  We (and our friends and family) were really impressed with the end result.  She did an awesome job and my fiance and I are both looking forward to working with her again at her August wedding.

use mine, he’s  friend of  a friend but does professional free lance photography on the side; $1100 for unlimited hours that day

My photographer doesn’t fit your budget but you might try Colorblind.  I used them for photos on the plasma screens and they were fabulous.  They offer a photography package for $1000 I think.
