Ooh I never thought about that!  I’m still waitin on a ring but it’s coming soon and I’d hate for something to happen to it, especially in the pool!

I don’t wear any jewelry when I exercise. I am too afraid of my ring falling off and getting lost or damaged. I also leave the jewels at home when we go camping, hiking, etc. And I can’t wear replacements. I tried, but anything other that my rings look weird on those fingers (I am a 2 e-ring bride).  It is definitely weird to not wear them, but I would rather feel weird than be devestated if something bad happened to them.

I don’t wear my rings to the gym. Too easy to damage them!

I’ll wear my engagement ring if I’m just doing cardio. I don’t wear it if I am going to be lifting weights or plan on using the pool/hot tub. In that case, I just wear nothing.

I work out at home and the weights I use aren’t the steel ones they’re those rubber covered ones, so my rings are safe.  But yeah anytime you have gold touching steel, it’s the gold that’s going to give not the steel, so its probably best not to wear it when lifting that kind of weight.
