Bras shit me. Why is it that I spend a fortune to have them lose their shape and elasticity only a few months later. And one boob always ends up smooshing out the top.

@Vikstar:  I don’t know if you do this already, but you should always buy bras that fit the best on the largest hook. That way when the band starts to stretch out, you can rehook it on the smaller hooks. And I think the boob smushing probably has to do with different sized breasts. Maybe get a larger cup size and use an insert to fill in the gap on the smaller one?

@somethingaquamarine:  That’s good advice, thank you. I always put them on the smallest hook from the start so have nowhere left to go.

@Vikstar:  No problem! I did the same thing for years, until I finally switched to a smaller band size. Makes a big difference!

Yep!  I actually just got sized at Nordstom a few weeks ago.  I’ve been wearing a 36C since college.  The fitter said most women incorrectly wear a 36C because it tends to fit a majority of women. I now wear a 32DDDand it fits great.  Fiance now calls me “hootz” (short for hooters). LOL

I’ve always gotten 38B or 36C and according to this, I am 40DDD. IS THT POSSIBLE??? Wow. Now I am intrigued to get measured professionally because I certainly don’t look like a DDD gal lol

I just tried this and got 30Dirty Delete (which is pretty accurate since I’m a 32D/34C).

Maybe I’m doing this wrong, but following the directions as written, I’m a 29C. This is impossible. A 32 band is way too tight on me, and I barely fill out an A cup.

I got measured at VS for a 34A, so I’m probably just measuring wrong. I did it exactly as stated, though, I can’t figure this out!

@canthugallcats:  youre right. When I was fitted at VS, they told me i could wear a 34A or a 32B, if you need the smaller cup you just add two inches to the size you think you need. Which sounds right since they fit her at a 34A.

@canthugallcats:  I think I tried a 32B and it was too tight. But I’ll try it again, because I did lose weight since then (maybe that’s why I’m 29 in?), so maybe it will fit better this time.
