YES!! I did this, tried on a new size bra & the article was right! I'm a cup bigger & band smaller

MAYBE. It was off, but I realized I'm a different bra size than I usually wear.

NO! This is all wrong - crazy article!

Commenting so I can try this later! I’m pretty sure I’m wearing the wrong size, and VS is no help in measuring.

Here’s a link that will actually calculate your bra size for you without adding the 4″ that some other sites do.

@PrincessBride2014  Measuring doggy style, mine is a 32H…Can’t find that size either!  I’m not so sure about the doggy style measuring.  I don’t crawl around on my hands and knees on a regular basis, so I’m not sure that’s the best way to measure.

30 G …. I think my 36 DD fits well enough. I have little faith in my ability to find an affordable 30 G.

Hmm if I do this method I’m a 28G, standing up I am 28F. Debating about ordering some of each or splitting the difference and getting a 28FF. I’ve been wearing 34D for years, guess I need to make a change!

Alright, after being inspired by this thread, I just bought 7 different bras in a few sizes from figleaves.com. I’m mildly freaking out because I just spent like $240 on bras, BUT I bought a bunch of Freya and Curvy Kate bras in 28F, 28FF and 28G to see what fits, so I will probably be returning all but a couple of them. And they were all on clearance and I only spent between $30-40 a bra! Crossing my fingers and hoping some of them fit well!

I always wore 32A because it was the smallest size available anywhere.  But the bands sometimes ride up and I can never wear them on the loosest hooks, only the tightest ones.  Then my boobs try to escape out the bottom of the cups and it gets quite uncomfortable.  Turns out I should be wearing 30B…

Which isn’t available ANYWHERE where I live and is expensive even online.  I don’t have $60 to pay for a plain, white bra, when I could find cuter ones half that price (and of the same quality) in, like, 30DDDD or whatever.  There’s far more specialty shops both online and off that cater to small band/large cup women than overall small women like me.

This has done absolutely NO favors for me or my bottomless hatred for my pathetic-ass 30B tits that haven’t changed at all since I was 14.

I’ve been super annoyed by my bras lately so I decided to try this. I’d been wearing a 34C for the most part. I measured myself today and I am apparently supposed to be wearing a 30D. I tried that onto day and the band was much too tight so I ended up with a 32D. Quite frankly I’m stunned that I’m a D. My boobs are so not that big. I’ve been wearing the new bra for a while now and I must say it is more comfortable.

I did go into VS just for the heck of it to see what they had and have them measure me.  Yeah, they tried to tell me a 36C was my size. Yeah, so not going to happen. They did have a few bras that came in 32D. I’m thinking they may want to try to sell more of the “pretty, sexy” bras so they size you to fit into those. The one 32D I got is a totally utilitarian, seamless T-shirt bra. So not sexy, but it works under all my shirts, regardless of fabric.

@MrsTee  Most short, slim women shouldn’t be wearing a 36 band size.

@canthugallcats  Mine was the same thing, I was wearing a 34B then I got sized and now I’m a 32D and it fits soo much better! But its a hard size to find and cheaper stores!

ChemistryBride  I just blew $150 on figleaves to try sizes since I have nowhere around me (that I know of) to try those kinds of sizes. I got Panache and Freya and one other one that was $30…I’m glad shipping is the same no matter what you order ( I think). I will probably only keep one of the 3…if they fit.

I usually have a 34C but they almost NEVER fit me well (straps do the work, band is loose, quad boob, the underwire is off the body not against it) aka all wrong so I’m hoping the 30F/30FF work out! My underbust measured 29…I’m thinking maybe I should try a 32DDD if I can find one in stores.. or 32DD?

I’ll see how tight that 30 feels.
