Get your thyroid checked out. I struggled to put on weight as a kid, so my mom used to encourage an ice cream habit.

@piticuta:  Healthy fats and proteins and some healthy carbs will do it. Basically sneak in a few extra snacks.  Avocado, nuts, nut butters, mutligrain breads, small pasta servings, etc.  Just be careful you don’t go crazy and eat bad foods to gain weight, it would be awful to sacrifice your health for boobs.

How about this. I have 15 to you know 70 pounds to lose…I will go ahead and transplant some of mine over to you? Sound good? Great.

Lol. Just kidding. I would say drink protein shakes and maybe lift weights and build muscle.

Definitely get your thyroid checked.  When I was in my early 20’s, I struggled to put weight on.  I was 5’9″ and weighed 120.  I hated the way I looked.  I found out I was hyperthyroid.  That took care of the problem.

Sometimes I wish I still had it…. 🙂

I am in the same boat as you. The other day I went bathing suit shopping because i want a one piece for my honeymoon (swmming with fishies!) and I couldn’t for the life of me find something that fit. It seems my butt is an okay size, but my boobs are another story. They are practically non-existent. 🙁 I got so depressed because I couldn’t find anything small enough on top.

I wish I could gain weight. I am posting to follow.

To be honest I’d just love your body whilst it lasts… sad to say, you’ll probably pile on the pounds as you age, LOL!

I also echo PPs… weight training, lots of healthy fats like oily fish, avocados and nuts, and lots of protein. Personally I would avoid shakes and processed food because of the additives. Whole foods are always better for you… more important to be healthy than to be a little fatter through eating trans fats and chemicals.

@piticuta:  I used to be super skinny <100lbs at 5’9″ and had to do a weight gain diet. I basically made sure I started with a breakfast of at least 1,000 calories. Oatmeal is the easiest way to do this – cook it in whole milk, cream, or coconut milk (not the stuff that is made for cereal but the stuff that comes out of a can for curries and cooking), add peanut butter, nuts, brown sugar, etc. It’s really easy to get it up there for a small amount of food!

Also larabars, cliff bars, etc.

Drinks. Make sure you drink things with calories, Protein shakes, ensures, etc.

I was like this. I was told to lift weights and eat more protein. I now hold steady about 115. It took me a long time to get to that point and my body fat is actually lower percentage wise now I just have a lot more muscle.

Prednisone will also fluff you up. I just lost the last of my gain from the last round and back on again I go. I dont however reccomend prednisone its a wonder drug but a horror show in one pill.

@piticuta:  Well, I have no problem gaining weight, thanks to my sweet tooth, love for butter, dairy, and chocolate. Also, I am often too tired to work out.

Obviously working out is important to you, so the only thing you can do is eat more calorie dense foods.

If you don’t like sweet things, go savory with rich ingredients like butter and whole milk or cream. Peanut butter is another good way to eat a lot of calories, maybe bake it into something or put it into smoothies/milkshakes?

Damn, I wish I had this problem!!!

@piticuta:  My SO is like you…she literally has to eat a meal every 4 hours in order to gain weight. A decent sized meal but not overeat. It’s exhausting for her and she rarely does it but it does work. She’s at I think around 112 but can’t get past that. She’s dropped just below 110 before and can’t stand being so tiny. I’m a plus sized girl so I’m like, oh shut up lol but playfully. It really is a struggle for her so I get where you’re coming from!

@piticuta:  Sorry it took so long. She said the pills she takes are called cb-1 weight gain.
