I am flexible in some parts of my body. I can wrap my leg around things, kinda like an octopus with bones, and i can bend my arms all  the way around my back, like im hugging my self, but back wards, but I cannot do back bends, and I can almost do a Saddle split.

I am actually a very flexible gal. I love doing yoga because it allows me to push my flexibility. Everytime I have a new teacher they always come to me after class and talk to me about my flexibility πŸ˜€ I would not say that I have an abnormal flexibility but I am pretty flexible! I am also a plus sized gal! I do not have any pictures of me doing anything flexible though….

    What a random topic LOL!

I’m not exactly what you’d call flexible… sadly.

@Eva Peron: lol! Thanks! Yeah, I LOVE yoga. Its so fun and I always feel AMAZING afterwards. But yoga at my gym sucks. So, I got to a yoga studio but it is super expensive so I cannot go very often πŸ™

I’m a former dance teacher.  I used to be crazy-Gumby (I could high-kick myself in the face), but a few injuries later, it’s not the same.  Still more flexible than the average person, though.

I can’t do the splits, but I have hyperflexible hips. The last time I had a physical, it freaked the doctor way out because he grabbed my leg and started rotating it to check my flexibility…and it rotated all the way out to the side, and then some, lol. I can bend my arms all the way around my back (there is no itch I can’t scratch), and my fingers are super-flexible, too.

ETA: I’ve never done gymnastics or anything. I guess my joints are just naturally flexible/loose.

I’m about as unflexible as they come, but my husband is even worse (can’t even get close to touching his toes) so I don’t feel that bad about it anymore. πŸ˜€

I used to be super flexible, but sometime in the last ten years it left me while I was sleeping.  I used to do gymnastics, cheer, and dance.  I just bought some yoga dvds so I am hoping to get some of it back (so is Darling Husband, LOL)

I took gynmastics for years, then was a cheerleader. I can still (just barely) pull my left leg up behind me and hold it over my head.  It was called a scorpion in cheering. πŸ™‚

Once upon a time, I could do a bow and arrow (one leg straight up, held by the opposite hand reach over the head).  Haven’t even tried that in over 15 years and I’m not going to anytime soon!

@mink: awesome! I ALWAYS wanted to do this in cheerleading but I was always the base because I weigh too much to be lifted πŸ™ You look amazing….that is impressive lady!
