i think they look identical, but don’t sweat it. as they grow up their features will grow and change. until then if someone asks if they’re identical just say they’re fraternal. they’re so cute!

I see small differences but they look very similiar.  Especially to someone who is just meeting them and doesn’t see them everyday.  If I saw them at the grocery I would probably assume they are identical.

I didn’t read the whole thread so I don’t know if someone else mentioned it, but twins can look identical without actually being identical twins in the literal sense.

The Olsen twins are evidence of this. They look identical but are in fact fraternal twins.

My nieces are identical but I personally think they look different. My Fiance on the other hand can’t tell them apart at all. When it’s someone you love and see often it’s easy to spot the differences. I don’t think it’s anything to get offended over

I see a difference in these babies. One has a rounder face, and the hairline is different. I grew up with close friends that were identical twins though and I could tell them appart. I notice things many do not. I think as they get older they will look more like individuals less like a pair.

Twiglets:  The look similar and almost identical at first glance. But honestly, it doesn’t help if you dress them in the exact same outfits (pic 1). People are going to assume they are identical if they see two baby girls the same age with similar features in identical outfits.

They appear to be identical, but as their mother, of course you would be able to tell them apart 😉 What beauties!

I can see the differences in these cuties but they do look very much alike. I think as they grow the differences will become more pronounced.

Twiglets:  I say not identical, and apparently i’m the only one so far who thinks these beautiful babies are NOT in the same order in both pictures. Amirite??

Twiglets:  Uh… yeah! I know a set of non identical twins who are almost identical. Once you get to know them you know who is who, just your babies, but at first you have a bit of a hard time! The olsen twins are non identical as well I heard, but look at them.

They do look identical. But I’ve seen families where sisters who are a few years apart look nearly identical, so it could just be that they look like each other without actually being identical twins.

My sister and I are 3 years apart and strangers stop us everywhere to ask if we’re twins (what is the obsession with twins, anyways?)  It happens every time we’re together in public.  We look a lot alike, but I don’t think we look like twins.  Some families just have a very strong resemblance. My cousins (male and female) look so much like my sister and I that we’re often mistaken for siblings.

I never assume identical twins, but that’s because my mother is a fraternal twin.  When they were babies they looked very similar.  As they grew up they looked much less so (you wouldn’t automatically assume they were twins if you met them.)  Now as they’re in their 60s they have started to look more and more alike again.  It’s so weird!

Edited to add:  I can see the differences between them, but I have to admit that I had to look for them.  They are adorable though, that’s immediately obvious!
