    I made suggestions about what I thought would look best with the rest of our things, and he ultimately made the decision about what he & his groomsmen wore.

    We went together. I have him my input but he made all of the final decisions.

    He’s making the decision but I reserve veto power on anything outrageous.

    @Jamiezilla:  Pretty much this.

    I think he and his Bridesmaid or Best Man are going to go by themselves to pick them out, but if they come back with something insane they’re going back. I’ve already had to veto light-up raver flowers as boutonnieres…

    We came to a compromise. He got to pick out the style of everything and I got to pick the colors. My Fi has absolutely no idea when it comes to different colors so he let me handle that.

    He’s deciding for himself like a grown up but if he wants my opinion I’ll give it, I don’t think it will be a surprise though.

    We agreed that he would wear a tux, but then he bought one without me.  But I’ll have input on the shirt and tie (I love bowtie & studs, he prefers skinny tie and tie clip).

    None of the above. He’s choosing, but no part of it is a surprise.

    We both decided on a suit over a tux and then we picked out the tie together. I told him I wanted simple black ties and he sort of hated that idea so he got a black tie with some white stripes. He loved it. And we got him some new shoes and cuff links.

    hah we actually had a fight about this. My Darling Husband prides himself on his fashion sense, but he’s a bit.. say… “trendier” than I am and I was worried that he’d pick out something too flashy (in my opinion). I wanted to go with him, he said no. Then I said I wanted to at least discuss it so he knew my opinions and he said no. *fight ensues* Finally he convinces me that since he got no say in my dress i should get no say in his tux.

    flash forward a few weeks to him tux shopping with his groomsman. He starts calling and texting with questions. And then finally just asks me to come because he’s worried about making a bad decision and ruining our pictures (seriously, how cute).

    But as it turned out, I got to the shop and everything he liked was just a-ok. I guess we should have both trusted him a bit more 🙂

    I left it up to him and he decided he wanted me to choose. But we ended up both liking what I chose and he gave some inputs that we went with.
