I’d have a wine with dinner (sav blanc most likely) and then a vodka soda and lime or gin and tonic for later in the evening.

For our wedding, we had a lot of really good Scotch, and my uncles/all the male bridal party/all the male guests TORE IT UP. We also had vodka, rum, strawberry daiquiri mixers, triple sec, cranberry juice (I suspect vodka and cranberry is where our cranberry juice and vodka went, haha), pineapple juice, 7 up, seagrams 7 (for 7&7), and angry orchard. We also had beer and wine, and I swear to you my aunts/his aunts drank all the wine, my uncles drank all the scotch, and *nobody* touched the beer.  All my friends who didn’t drink scotch diminished the Angry Orchard like woe. But your crowd could be different than ours. Besides my own wedding, I’ve never been to one that didn’t only have beer or wine. Otherwise I’d probably order the shit out of some cosmos or mai tai if the stuff was available to make it…hehehehe.

None of the above… I would order a chardonnay.  Or other dry white.  My Fiance would order an old fashioned or whiskey.

Sangria sounds divine. I’d order a margarita or vodka & cranberry or mojito if all the fixins are available.

Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey!! Both Fiance and I are whiskey HOUNDS! But if there wasn’t any we’d go rum. I can do pretty much anything, beer, wine (red or white), vodka whatever but Fiance is a whiskey or rum man.

Coke.  Straight up soda. DH would order something equally boring. My point is, don’t forget the non-drinkers and the designated drivers! If you have plenty of mixers you should be covered though!

I love drinking Champagne at weddings. Or vodka & seltzer with a twist of lime.
