Glue sticks! Those things were a godsend. Not the ones you bought in like elementary school, but the ones filled with liquid glue with a sponge tip on the end.

My Fiance and licked ’em. We tried to take a rag and wet the corner and do it, but that was taking wayyyy too much time. We had stickers though too. If you don’t want to lick them you could try just sponging some water on them. It will work, but if you don’t find it goes fast enough, just lick them.

You can buy a licker at office supply stores, it’s basically a tube you fill with water, with a sponge tip.

I put spit on my finger and ran it along the glue strip.  Classy all the way!!

@MissNoodles:  That’s what I used too, I only knew because I worked in an office supply store when I was younger. I’m surprised there isn’t a better solution yet!

I bought an evelope sealer, which is basically a tube of water with a sponge at the end. It was great, although Fiance would squeeze it too hard and some envelopes were way too wet.
