I think ur taking a step in the right direction. My colors are blush and gold. What I’m doing is using a white cardstock with gold writing and using blush envelopes to incorporate the blush.  I think if u use a subtle blush like the photo than it would look well polished!! Also I like that you made the font go in a straight line. What if instead of centering you moved it over to the right.

@lauraashley09:  AH! Ok… what I like about your inspiration set is the way the words fill up the space. Your RSVP is cool and less traditional because the words go off the page. See how the names almost hit the edge of the invitation in your inspiration? I would try to get closer to that. The relatively standard spacing on yours right now make it look more, well, standard!

@lauraashley09:  With the RSVP, I would change “we’ve reserved x seats in your honor” to “x seats have been reserved in your honor”.

@lauraashley09:  i prefer the lighter background invite but for me, it’s the font and the layout that is a big boring.  i am having a hard time with the body of text after your names.  it needs something else.

i would like to see the lower body of text aligned all on the right margin.  the first line is too long and needs to be split after company.   i am not sure if the font you are using has a lower case option but i would use that as a contract as opposed to the italic font.  i would also leave a bit of space before the last 3 lines.  the last line could even have a smaller font.

another suggestion for the names would be to have a lighter shade of gold for the “&” and make it large and then overlay the darker font names on top.

@peachacid:  +1. I actually agree with you about the green. I think the green in the original is a little too dark and has greyish undertones. A richer, more vibrant emerald would look better.

@lauraashley09:  Love the color in the inspiration! And I definitely think you could mix blush RSVP cards with emerald invitations.

I would increase the font size for your names so it fills up the page.  This would make it look more like your inspiration pic.  Would you consider leaving out your middle names?  This will give you more space to work with.

I would also put “at their marriage ceremony” on a separate line.

@lauraashley09:  ah great, looks much better!!  Maybe still a little bigger on the font for the names (similar size to your “Respond”), but don’t know if that would work.
