@Jamergurl921:  the other day Fiance and I were watching a comedy and when the main character went to save his brother I burst into tears, you should’ve seen FIs face. He was like omg what!? What’s wrong?! I was like I dunno I think it’s hormones lmao

It’s so crazy but on Day 18 of my cycle…on the day exactly…I get SO emotional.  Usually I realize when I blow up at Fiance over something stupid.  It usually starts out something like “Hey honey I’m going to hang out at my brothers tonight.” Me: “You’re always at your brothers, what do you have a girlfriend over there now (I say that sarcastically)” Fiance: “You know its fight night” Me: “Oh so the fights are more important than spending the day with me”. Fiance: “Fine I won’t go, I’ll stay here” Me: Crying hysterically “NO that’s fine go to your brothers, watch the fights.  I didn’t want to hang out with you anyway.”

Ok its not THAT ridiculous. Usually we fight over something a little more worth fighting but still nothing that I should end up crying hysterically over.  The next day I usually wake up and think “WTF? Why did we fight?  What was I crying about?” then I look at the calendar and count….yup Day 18 on the dot.  In fact 2 days ago I cried because Fiance wanted to go 4-wheeling with his cousin Saturday and I flipped out because he was gone last weekend because of his cousins birthday.  No reason for me to flip out, just hormonal.

On the second night of my period at bed time I have an emotional meltdown like clockwork. I didn’t realize that I do it every month, but Fiance has apparently been keeping track. I’m not sure what it is, but for about half an hour i just lose all ability to cope with anything and cry for no reason. Fiance has learned to just hold me and wait for it to pass.

Lately, I’ve started getting pimples around my mouth and nose when my period is arriving. My nipples also become very sensitive the week before… and I want to eat EVERYTHING.

@MissCalifornia:  OMG I hear you there.  Lately, like the last 6 months or so, a week or so before my period I get those HUGE zits that are deep under the skin and never come to a head.  Yesterday I got one on my chin and its so huge and shiny.  Last night my Fiance said to me as I’m getting into bed “How’s your friend?” I was confused because my mom had just been really sick and went to the ER (ended up being only a really bad Upper Respiratory Infection) but Fiance had been with me and knew what was going on.  So after seeing my confused face he points to my chin and says “Your friend”. I wanted to kill him, yes I know its huge, yes I know its ugly.  No need to state the obvious lol.

@NurseMandie:  Hahaha I’d have killed him. Yeah, OF COURSE the week my SO visited was the week leading up to my period so I had all these horrible zits everywhere and looked/felt a mess. Blah.

@MissCalifornia:  What I really hate is how much it hurts and I’ll constantly touch it (yes I know that makes it worse) and then he’ll tell me that touching it makes it worse.  I’m trying to cover it up! I use every product I can think of to get rid of it fast and nothing works. SIGH.

@NurseMandie:  Yeah, that’s the worst part. And so much stuff you use to cover it up will just make it worse. What I don’t get is that up until recently, I’ve had perfect skin… and suddenly in the last 6 months or so, period time = pizza face. D:

@MissCalifornia:  Agreed.  In high school up until I turned 29 my face was flawless except for the 3 small white heads I’d get during TOM that could easily be gotten rid of with a dab of cream.  I turned 29 and my face decided it hated me, all month long but during TOM is when I get the ones that hurt and don’t go away for weeks.  I get shoulder acne too.  And I’m a picker so my shoulders look HORRIBLE. All scarred up eek, Fiance hates that.

@MissCalifornia:  Ditto the eating EVERYTHING. There is never enough food in the house, haha. And I cry A LOT, about anything the week before. This month, I cried at a picture of a man sat with his dog looking out on a lake. Yeah.

@NurseMandie:  Yeah I’m a picker too. Ugh. I’m gonna see a dermatologist if this keeps up and maybe get on some kind of prescription medication to try and get my skin back!
