*HUGS* That sucks. =( I’m so sorry for you, and for your guests. I hope the airline they were flying with will reimburse them for their expenses buying all new clothes, etc!

I’m sorry for everything that’s going on.  But it looks like it’s going to be perfect timing to have a wedding.  People who are able to be there could definitely use the lifted spirits!

Oh no, sending you some hugs!

I hope the airport finds their stuff–did they have any of it insured? They lost my baggage once, found it later, and then overnighted it and brought it to my door about 2 hours before i had to be at a wedding. I’m holding out for ya!

In situations like this you just have to remember that things could be worse. It is very unfortunate for the loss of a family member. There is never any control over these terrible things. For the luggage; it definatly is an inconvienience but; they all made it alive and well. Thats about the best way to look at these things because there really isn’t anything else you could do. I would take them on the drive to somewhere appropriate to buy a few outfits incase they don’t get their luggage in time & then just settle & be glad to have their company. These are just memories that add to your special day. Try and relax & Look forward to your Wedding. (By the way; yes they are your guests; but they are grown ups. They know the risks that you take by packing EVERYTHING in your luggage. They’ll figure something out!)
