Poeple are just dumb. I was a size 4/5 till I got out of highschool and them I was a 7/8 till I got pregnant with My son. He is only 18months but I havent been abole to get down under a 10/12 since having him. I am struggling with this and even tho some people are comforting(FI) my mom and some women in my family are not.

When we went to look at out honeymoon suite at the hotel we are staying in the women at the hotel asked me if I was pregnant also. I was really offended. I know were you sre coming from! You arent alone

I’m so sorry this happened to you 🙁  As someone who is the same size as you (and the same age actually!), I have also struggled with my weight my entire life.  You have to remember you are beautiful and some people are just rude. and relish in the fact that you are considerate and intelligent enough to know that is unacceptable!

SouthernGirl I know what you mean by carrying around the middle. Most of my weight is there. My legs and butt are a little larger but mostly the waist since I had to have a emergencyc section.

If only all that weight was in my BOOBS!

I know how you feel about kids too cause right after my son was born a 5/6 year old asked me when my baby was gonna come. At least then I was only like 3 months out from a baby but at 18 months a little discouraging.

I plan to teach my kids to be more respectful! There is hope!

Oh girl- I’m a size 12-14, and every time I gain weight I gain it in the lower stomach pooch area. Usually it’s a beer gut type of situation, but anyways… I worked at a country club and offices, organizations, etc. rented out banquet hall. We had a banquet for the state obgyn ppl (not sure what their official name is). One smartass obgyn grabbed me (I was a server), rubbed my stomach and said, about 4 months? I said “um, no. I’m definitely not pregnant.” and walked away. I was sooo upset, because here was a dang obgyn, the guy who is suppose to not be ignorant of this, thinking I’m pregnant. I immediately got on diet pills (not the safest thing). It’s crazy cause I lost down to a size 6, and when I gained back like 5 lbs, it was right there, in the same spot and I still looked pregnant as a size 6.

I would seriously write a note to the corporate office of the store. First of all, the woman has no people skills to be assuming someone is pregnant when they’re not. Secondly, it’s none of her business who’s buying beer, as long as the person is of legal age. Just rude & rude.

I had a child say to me, “Is there a baby in your tummy?” I was 20 at the time. When I said, “No,” he replied, “Then why is your tummy so big?” Good grief!
