You know the Postage Rates for your own country… and a bunch of others.

And the current assortment of “not the standard” stamps available at the Post Office

Lol, with email and such, I can’t remember the last time I sent anything by snail mail, it was a bit of a surprise to discover how much each of our Invites cost us to mail to say the least.

By The Way, cute topic.

You know you’re about to get married when….

…. you get asked by everyone who knows you’re getting married or by people who just found out that you’re getting married, “So are you getting excited?!?!” Well, yes every now and then, but no, I just can’t live in a constant state of “omgimgettingmarriedicanbarelycontainmyselfrightnow!”-ness.

I am completely guilty of this as well, because it is just an automatic response we have! and I know everyone just wants to share my excitement… but I honestly have hardly thought of the wedding the past month and a half!!!!!! I just started a new job and Fiance and I are trying to buy a house lol… I guess things will pick up here soon but we have almost everything pretty hammered out, so I’m kind of in the “meh” stage about it all lol.

when all you ever talk about is the wedding, and then you wonder what on earth you’ll talk about when the wedding is over…!!

when looking at any other magazine other than a bridal one feels “weird”

@mrsrecon:  LOL.  My weekly pilgrimage to Michaels will soon be coming to an end!

@Sunnyday278:  totally plus one on this…but you also forgot the other 50% of people who don’t ask if you’re excited ask if you’re getting nervous. That is such a weird question to me, and my response is usually “No, why…should I be?”

Also, I wake up in the middle of the night (usually from a wedding-related dream) almost every night and start running through things in my head. Why am I so smart and productive at 3am?! I started keeping a notepad beside my bed so I can jot it down and fall back to sleep peacefully instead of staying awake the next 3 hours worrying that I’ll forget that I need to make a reservation for my Bridesmaid or Best Man luncheon or ask the coordinator about a table skirt…

You realise that you might speak about wedding stuff a bit too much and that the wedding “lingo” you use might have rubbed off when your Fiance tells the jeweller he wants “an 18K white gold 6mm D shaped band with milgrain detailing” and this is only the second time he’s ever looked at wedding bands….

@StuporDuck:  I guess you don’t consider *waiting* bees about to get married?

1. When I come home and see my Fiance looking at bridal magazines

2. When I’m reminded I can’t buy things because we are saving for a wedding 😛

@OtterHalf:  Hahaha. The other day Fiance finds a package I left on the couch, unopened, and he goes “What’d you order now?”. All I could say was “I don’t know. It’s like Christmas!”. I love mailing gifts to myself, even if they’re wedding related.

Ahh I Love This Thread!!

I eat/sleep/breathe wedding details and i can’t wait to just be married and take off for our honeymoon!!

I’m beyond sick of people asking if im excited and so on and so forth.

I know i’m getting married OUTSIDE b/c i stalk the weather channel. I see the 10 days forecast in my nightmares…smh.
