So I am beginning this lovely journey of a healthier lifestyle. I am sure you guys are sick of me talking about it for the past year and ready for me to start! LOL
So, I had my consultation with a personal trainer today and she was great. But here are the prices (includes nutrition consultations) 55 minute sessions:
5 Sessions = $250
10 Sessions = $450
20 Sessions = $800
Is this reasonable?? (keep in mind I live in Chicago)

I am not sure how much PTs usually are but $50 a session sounds pretty reasonable to me:)

@Tswife4ever: you are probably right. Darling Husband gave the stamp of approval 🙂

Sounds like a sweet deal to me!

Ladies-I am sore for the 10 minute session she gave me yesterday! I have never been sore from 10 minutes of exercise LOL I would say this is worth it 🙂

That’s a really good deal. Mine are $90 a session and that is including a discount and paying the “entry level” trainer price even though my trainer is a higher level.

I’ve just signed up for a six 1hr session of GROUP PT and it’s costing me $260 so it sounds like you’re getting a bargain!

That’s good. My Fiance is a personal trainer and he charges a flat rate of $70 per session when he trains clients privately and the gym he sometimes works at charges $105 per session (of which he only gets $27…grrr)

YEah I agree that’s a good rate. That’s what I paid for my PT at the military base (where it is lower b/c the gym doesn’t take a cut of the hourly fee).
