DO IT! You have good reasons for all of them (they aren’t strangers or randoms you know).

You’re not crazy!  I’m having 7 BM’s and Fiance is having 7 Groomsmen.  I have 2 sisters and Fiance has a sister, plus I have 4 really great girl friends, so it was a no brainer in my situation.  Plus, I think the more the merrier!

I wouldn’t fret over the number of people in your wedding party.  I actually think it’s about average.  Good luck!

I have 10 Bridesmaid or Best Man and 10 Gm! 4 flower girls and 4 Jbm/ushers and 1 RB!!! It is a lot! 29 in the wedding party, 31 including us (bride and groom) I orginally wanted 6, but people felt sad and left out!  I know some people take being in a wedding very personal, and it wasnt worth the drama! So far so good! There are more BM’s that are more active with my planning and more helpful then others and that is totally fine with me! It may look weird to have such a large wedding party to others, but I dont think I care anymore lol!

At my florist consultation, she showed me a picture of a wedding party that had 20 bridesmaids and 20 groomsmen. Crazy!

I was also a part of a wedding party of 7 on each side. I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I say do what you want. We have 10 BMs, 7 GMs and 2 RBs. I don’t really care if other people think that’s too many. It’s your wedding, choose whoever you want to be in your bridal party!

When I was younger I could have had 8-10…now that all my friends and I are in our mid 30s and we’ve all been in 50 weddings, it seems to be more ok to not ask some to be in the bridal party.  I think a few of my friends were relieved….ha!

I had 2 total.  Loved it!  Do what you want!

You have to do what makes you happy! My Fiance and I have had this discussion at length bc he simply has a bigger circle of friends than I do and was worried I’d care about it balancing out. If you’re comfortable with it and everybody is easy to work with I say do it!

If that’s what works for you, then do it! But, for a different side, I will say that I have 4 siblings and partner has 2. His 2 brothers are standing on his side. I only have one of my 4 sibligns standing — my middle sister with whom I am closest. I asked my older sister if she wanted to — if she had said yes, I would have my littlest sister in the wedding too and had my little brother stand on partner’s side — but older sis has bad social anxiety and really didn’t want to.

My two younger siblings haven’t expressed any disappointment. They’re 15 and 16 years old, I don’t think their sister’s wedding is all that important at that age. They’re going to be ushers. I have my 3 best friends filling out the rest of my side of the wedding party.
