Ooo!! Shiny!! They are super pretty! Just a little expensive for me, though πŸ™

Here’s my idea of a dream shoe – shiny bits, satiny bits, super comfortable, nice chunky heel to help keep my balance (can you tell I’m not a shoe person?), and they’re super cheap – I bought them in store for $130 and, online, they’re closer to $50

@nushka:

Frankly, these shoes don’t do anything for me. I don’t like open-toed shoes for formal events, and would certainly not spend $900 on any pair of shoes I would most likely only wear once. I have my fair share of expensive items, but I am a bit stingy when it comes to wear-once attire and accessories.

Plus, I am a ballroom dancer, and I always evaluate special occasion shoes on how well I could dance in them, and these fail to meet my needs. However, it’s good that you like them. I am sure you can find a similar d’Orsay style for a lot less. Shoe clips (check Etsy for some lovely creations) can add some glamour and you can use them on a handbag or another pair of shoes post-wedding.
