that my school would have come up with a more efficient way of doing registration. Here’s the current plan of action:
Step 1: At promptly 7:30, open up online registration for all people in a particular credit bracket. Monday starts with Seniors, and they do it every morning for a week until Freshman register on Thursaday (aka right now).
Step 2: Ignore the fact that the school’s server simply cannot handle that many people trying to log on to the same page at once.
Step 3: Take 9 minutes (and counting) to load the page after I put my registration PIN in.
Step 4: Screw Miss Fish out of her much-needed science and advertizing courses.
Text I just recieved from friend: “Hey, is Web4Student being a total c**t for you?”
Why yes, kind sir. Yes it is.

Sorry that sucks, is there anyway to do a phone registration?

I remember this…. sorry about that. 🙁 Any way you can work your way into those classes anyway? I know I’ve done that before.

my school had this too. It sucked! But when you’re a senior it’s awesome! lol

Can you petition the teacher to get you in their class? I used to do that for very popular classes. One of them put me on a waiting list and as soon as someone dropped, I was added to the class.

Yeah, I can probably go get add slips for some of them… but it depends entirely on how many people are being let into the class and how big the classroom is. I go to a small liberal arts school where most classes are only 16-20 students, and the classrooms don’t hold much more than that. My Spanish class has 8 students and I can’t see the room holding any more than 15.
It has now been 45 minutes. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I’m making breakfast.

I remember how annoying that was. I actually used to have an older student register for more classes than they were going to take which just happened to be classes that I wanted, then he’d drop them because we had a few weeks before class started to add and drop.
