I’m not 100% sure on the specs, I think it’s about a .25 or so. I’ll get the appraisal soon and then I’ll find out the TCW and everything. I’m going to be 26 next week!

I’m 25 and just got engaged. My ring is 3.10 carats and D color (all I know about it). I love it!

Mine’s 2.15 carats. My Fiance and I are both 25. One of my best friends just got engaged with a 2 ct equivalent moissanite, but we are definitely the high-carat end of our friend group.

The diamond’s reflecting some light blue from my shirt today. EDIT: Sorry for the huge photo! I tried resizing it, but it didn’t take.

28 and 1 carat equivalent. I didn’t want a diamond, but I like sparkle!

Engaged at 24 (-3 days), married at 24.5 (minus 1 day)! He’s one year younger.
I don’t know what size he would’ve picked on his own, but I looked at rings with my sister (a gemologist, working in a jewelry store) and was pretty insistant that it not be above .5 carats. I wear size 4.25-4.5, so any bigger than that seemed too big. Oh, and more money than I wanted him to spend! laughing

I have a .34 solitaire in yellow gold. Considered a wedding band with ~7(?) small stones, but opted for the plain instead. I love it.

beka86 :  Thank you so much! I had it custom made – I fell in love with the style but couldn’t find any stores that sold it (besides sellers on Etsy and I didn’t want to go that route). You have good taste 🙂

I think it really depends on where you are from. I’m from the UK and it’s very unusual (for me at least) to see anything Over 1ct. Mine is 1/4 ct total. Small by “standards” I have seen on here but I liked the unusual band shape and it was within our budget. I don’t know if that’s because diamonds are maybe more expensive here or it’s just my circle of friends maybe?

Engaged at 26. Center diamond 0.3 ct. (heirloom stone), with additional 0.3 along the band.

The jeweler also told me that only 10% of women have 1+ ct. as their center stone. Don’t let the internet make you feel like you need something giant.

I’m far beyond the mid twenties, but at that time in my life I had probably a .25 carat pear.  I was married at 19.  We literally had nothing.
