- Wedding: July 2013
We are 23 and 28 (24 in a week!) My rocks total 1.04 ctw. My wedding band, that we picked up tonight, is .25 ctw. LOVE LOVE LOVE my rocks!
My ring is a .5 ct diamond.
And this is the ring on my 6.25 finger
Just another close-up. It is a cathedral setting with surprise diamonds on either side.
I’m 24 and recently out of college and I lucked out by being able to afford my dream ring. Many of my other 20 something friends who are getting engaged are slightly disapointed by their small diamond. What i’ve seen them do though is opt for a colored jem instead or consider their e-ring a “starter” which gets to be upgraded on anniversarys. So if there are any young bees on here who are disappointed they’re not getting that 3 carat diamond ring don’t worry! it’ll be something you can build on and have fun trips to the jewlery store for years to come!
We got engaged right after we turned 24 and wanted a “forever” ring, rather than upgrading later. Spent about $9k, 1.28 center and 1.75 total carats. He’s so proud of it and I’m proud of the symbolism behind the ring, being able to provide and take care of your future wife and family.
Age 26, cost $1,200 for the set, 2.2 k aquamarine in 14 k rose gold with diamond halo.
Both just turned 26 when we got engaged last week!
We got engaged a couple of weeks after my 25th birthday (we were both 25, he has since turned 26)
my engagement ring is an antique that we picked together, and we had the wedding band made to fit next to it.
I’m 22 and my fiance is also! Mine is a .7 carat round cut diamond with a .6 total diamond weight halo band set in 18k white gold. It cost $6200 (not including the band, which is not shown).
We got engaged 23 of May and I ‘m 28 Here’s my baby! I love my Verragio beauty. Fiance did an amazing job picking out the ring!
I was 20 when I got engaged and Fiance opted to get a .5 ct solitaire of really incredible quality. I questioned this call when I was 20 because I really wanted something bigger, even if it meant a less clear stone. However, now that I have the wedding band to match, I am obsessed with my set and think it’s exactly the right size. I used to think someday, like maybe at the 10 year anniversary or something, we’d get a bigger stone but I’m not so sure now.
Mine is a .95 ct morganite in rose gold, it cost $99 and we were 21 & 22 when we got engaged.
EDITED: Oops, just realized I had already posted mine! Lol. 😛
We bought a house when i was 17 he was 19, were engaged when i was 19, fiance was 21 and we will be 21 and 23 when we tie the knot in november. my engagement ring is 1 carat of blue diamonds and two .25 carat princess cut white diamonds on each end, totaling 1.5 carats and . Wedding band is just over 1.25 carats. totaling 2.75 carats. Together the set was just under 9k but our jeweler is awesome and gave us An amazing deal…4k!!!!!.
