I’m 25 and I work for a local non-profit that works with mentoring children – keeping them in school/off drugs/give them powerful role models. I participated in the program when I was a kid so its really neat to work with them as an adult too!
I’m also in school to become a phlebotomist 🙂

24, got married in June and am a 7th grade computer teacher. This is my second year teaching (taught 6th grade last year…in our district 5th and 6th grade are “intermediate schools” where the kids switch between two classes a day, one for math and science and the other for English and social studies, plus their related arts class. Except last year we had an uneven number of 6th grade classes so I taught all subjects to the same kids all day. Last year was very hard. Between being my first year, taking over a tough classroom and not really knowing all I needed to know about setting expectations, and having to plan for reading/writing, math, science, social studies, reading and math RTI (extra help) every day and then grading on top of that, I was extremely busy.
That being said, this year is much better, although I really liked the school I was at last year, and I found that the middle school setting is for me because I get to make one plan and repeat with different kids, although there is definitely more attitude. Hang in there…they say it gets much easier a few years in.

- Wedding: March 2016 - Sand Key Park- Clearwater Beach Elopement
I’m 22 years old, and I’m a full-time student. Unfortunately, I don’t have a job. I’d like to get one. But being a senior in college and trying to plan a wedding makes it difficult as it is. Sure, it would be possible, but I’m burned out as it is. Next summer I hope to find something to help supplement for the wedding and get some savings set up for when we start TTC.
My fiance (24) has a full time job where he works at a plumbing wholesale business with his dad and best friend.

I work as a technologist in a flow cytometry lab that diagnoses leukemia and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in patient blood samples. I’m 22 and this is my first full-time job after graduating with my BS degree in biology. Nothing makes me smile more at work than to have all my samples for the day come back negative 🙂

I took a job as an auditor (hate it) and will be returning to my old job working in healthcare billing/accounts receivable next fall once my lease is up (I moved away to work).
