I’m 20 and Fiance is 23; I’m doing my undergrad, while he is working. I’m not planning on getting married for a few years, probably when I’m 22 or 23. I’d like to establish myself in my field first 🙂

About the ring: size 8 finger, 1.25 center weight and 2.44 total. It’s a moisannite and 10k white gold.

Here’s mine! We’re both 24, I’m working part-time and attending grad school full-time, and he’s working full-time and attending undergrad part-time.

It’s a .75 OEC un enhanced moissanite with .4 cts of diamonds and sapphires in the band on a size 5.5 finger.

Here’s my ring (sorry for the huge picture, I don’t know how to make it smaller)! We’re freshmen in college (both 19-years-old) and my fiancé saved for months for my ring. It’s small (only 1/3 ct. in total), but my fiancé works part-time and makes minimum wage, so it meant so much to me that he worked so hard for it. I care more about the sentiment than the size, which is why I wouldn’t want an upgrade, even if he could afford it in the future.

I’m 22. My ring is a .75 carat. 🙂 And Fiance has a great job, that’s how he could afford it.

We’re both 23.  I just graduated last spring and my fiance is graduating this spring.  Luckily he had some nice savings and a jeweler in the family!

I’m 25 and in grad school whilst working part-time. The Fiance is 32 and had started a paid internship in a freight company. It was really important to him that I got what I wanted and didn’t feel like I had to settle and it was important to me to be considerate of our limited budget. Thankfully, my research paid off when we learnt about lab-created stones and we were able to purchase TWO rings for under $2k. And whilst I would have been perfectly happy with one, I can honestly say that I love them both – they’re everything I ever wanted.

I just got engaged this weekend!  I’m 25 and in grad school and Fiance is 27 – he’s been working a while as a mechanical engineer so could afford something a bit pricier.  Here’s my ring!

I get crap all the time for how young I am, but I’m 17! My fiance is an active duty Marine. He totalled his truck and still saved money to buy me a ring. I think it cost about $700 and its a perfect, flawless diamond. It’s not huge but it’s beautiful and I’m in love with it. Okay, here it is!!

Hey Bees!! This is actually my SECOND e-ring.  My Fiance proposed in August 2011, (I was 21, he was 24).. we had just bought a house, so no room for a large diamond.  My first ring was $2800..1ct tw, okay clarity for that price.  Just 6 weeks ago, we upgrade to a Vera Wang! This is the Vera set that we chose, but actually decided to upgrade the center stone to a .75ct solitare versus the .33ct that comes with it, so it had to be ordered. Now the ring total has 1.25ct tw, and my wedding band is only .25ct tw.  It has a 12 week turn around (yuck!) but I cannot wait to wear my beauty! Thankfully Zales gives you 100% trade in value.. but I believe after the purchase of a new solitare, paying a little extra to have the setting changed, and the matching Vera band, we paid about $4200 out of pocket.  So… now at 23 (I think is a young bride age!), I *finally* have my dream ring (well, almost, 6 more weeks!)

Sorry for the ginormous picture.. I uploaded from my phone and don’t know how to fix it!

I’m 23, Fiance is 26. He’s in school right now and will graduate a couple months after the wedding. I tried the college thing and it didn’t work out, I work full time. FI’s mother passed about 8 months before I met him and she left her wedding set to him. So we didn’t pay for it. I’m having a new ring made that I’ll set her center stone (which is a long time family heirloom) into and we lucked into some free champagne diamonds I’ll be using as accents. That’s happening after the wedding because we wanted to use her set in the ceremony. And my new e-ring will only cost $500. And the wedding band I may or may not have made will be around $400, if I decide to go that route. I’ll also wear his mother’s wedding band as a thumb ring because it fits there and that way I’ll still be wearing a part of set daily.

Here’s my current set. Specs- @.8ct center, I’m guessing about 1.3tcw. 18k white gold. No idea about the band.

And a link to my thread about the new ring, I’d love some more input if you ladies take a look! – Custom Ring Design

I’m 23 and Fiance is 36… I know he’s older, but I want to play too!

Mine’s from Birks, Its .56 ct in the center, with small stones along the band and smaller stones around the “neck”. For ref. my finger is a size 5 3/4

I love my ring so much, I wouldn’t be happier with a different one.. I love how simple and pretty it is!

Sorry about the lighting, it’s kind of dreary today
