@kay_thunderbird:  We’re 27 now, but we were 21 when I got this ring.  It’s 1/2ct moissanite with a channel set band.  It was under $500.  I’m actually getting a 5 year anniversary ring this summer!

I’m 24, got this ring when I was 23. Not sure how big it is

I think the size is pretty substantial and this will be my forever ring. My Fi is older though (34 now) with a career, so definitely able to afford it vs. when he was younger.

We were both 23 when he proposed (last year).  He finished school the year before and has been working since.  He saved up and had my dream ring custom made.  It is a .75 ct., VS1, very good cut in white gold.  It appraised at $9800, but he got it made through a family friend who gave him quite a discount.  We are currently in the process of having the band custom made (matching and curved to the e-ring).  Cannot wait to have the set together πŸ™‚

I just turned 23 and my husband is also 23. I was 21 when we got engaged.  Here is my set πŸ™‚

Both my husband and I had money saved up to pay for it.  It’s a moissanite in a diamond halo and my wedding band is all diamond.

We were both 20 when we got engaged, and we will be 21 when we wed. We are both college student (met on our first day of college, first class of the day), and I work part-time as a domestic violence victim advocate, and my Fiance works full-time as a manager at a sporting goods store, and interns for the marketing & PR department at a local credit union (he previously interned at a Lansing metro news station as a producer).

My ring is a 3ct Old European Cut Amora Moissanite in a custom micropave setting by Jewels by Erica Grace called the “Gabbie” πŸ™‚ Final cost was just under 5k and we afforded it w/ good old fashioned hard work. I say “we” because we collectively saved for it, which I think was the appropriate thing in our situation considering I really wanted a ring that wouldn’t have been feasible for him on his own. No regrets and I absolutely adore my ring and plan to use it a family heirloom πŸ™‚

I’m 21, about to turn 22 and my fiance is about to turn 24. We’ve been engaged for over 2 years, so I was 19 when he proposed. We’ve been together for over 5 and half years. Started dating in high school, and are about to graduate from college together! Luckily my Fiance inherited some diamonds, so he was able to design a ring that he really liked. Even with the inherited stones, he had to pay over $2000 to have the semi-mount created. It really is a lovely ring, and i’m very proud he picked/designed it with me in mind πŸ™‚

Sorry for the gigantic photo!

Specs: 2.1ish carats, H color, SI2 Clarity, Old Mine cut center, round sides.
