I wouldn’t ask people to be in your wedding party this far away from the date. I would wait until your near the 1 year mark. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I’m seen too many relationships change over the course of a long wedding planning process and put undue stress on the wedding.

Couldn’t you have all three of them as flawer girls? We had an 18 month old, a 5 year old, and a 7 year old all as flower girls. The 7 year old loved being a flower girl too…

@Summer2015:  Hmmm, would you consider having two junior bridesmaids?

My flower girls will be 8 and 4 when I get married. I don’t think 7 is too old to be a flower girl at all, and there’s nothing wrong with having several flower girls. I think 2 can sometimes be too young for a flower girl (obviously depending on the child). I was a flower girl when I was 2 and apparently as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, I saw my mom and yelled “Mommy!” and ran down the aisle to her. Supposedly it was adorable, but obviously I didn’t exactly perform my job very well lol.

@Summer2015:  Maybe you could have the 7 year old be a Flower Girl that pulls the younger FG’s in a wagon? That way she still feels older and like she has a responsible role, but not too much older.

@Summer2015:  gotcha.

I would still have the 7 year old as a flower girl…tell her she’s the queen of the flower girls or something silly and give her the responsbility to help the other down the aisle.

Kis are usually asked closer to the wedding. Perhaps six months before. If it’s a travel then earlier for the parent’s convenience.

I think the 7 year old would be a fantastic Flower Girl. If she’s concerned about looking like a baby, give her a different color flower and tell her that she’s a “sr Flower girl”
