He’s two years and a month older, but we are basically at the same stage in life, since he had a 5 year degree I finished college a semester later and we’re now both sort of established in our careers. We are both in that stage where we like to party hard on the weekends and go to bed early almost every weeknight.

We’re 9 years apart. I’m 28 and he’s 37. It’s a nice difference and I don’t really notice it, except for the fact that I’m about to have two teenage sons.
Oh, and the fact that I tease him about the fact that when he graduated from high school I was still playing Barbie.

We’re 7 years apart- he’s 27 and I’m 20. And no, he’s not some phsyco pervert ๐ It works for us- I tell him all the time that I’m so glad he’s as old as he is, because guys closer to my age are so immature!

We are just slightly over a year apart. I could see why many women would be with older men because of the whole maturity thing. Many guys I know his age aren’t as mature as him, so I guess I got lucky!

I’m one year and one month older than my Fiance. He teases me relentlessly b/c we’ll never be the same age, and I’ll always be older than him. Oh well, my revenge is looking years younger!

I am exactly 6 weeks older than my fiancee, but given that his mother overcarried him by about a month or so, we are basically the same age except he was born too late lol. I keep giving him hard time that he was born as a one year old. Given that he was 11.5lbs (!) when he was born it’s not that far from the truth.

There are 17 days between us, and the numbers in the dates are opposite (13/31). I tease him about not ever being able to forget my birthday (he wouldn’t anyway, he’s very thoughtful about dates) but that has worked out well as a reminder for each other’s family to remember our birthdays.

Two and a half year difference, but I voted 3 just to round up. He was my brother’s friend, and that is how we met. I don’t see an age difference really, we are at the same point in our lives, wanting the same things…works well for us.

My fiance is 8 years older. I’m nearly 20, he’s 27. Certainly, it’s an age gap that wouldn’t work for many at my decidedly young age, but most of my coworkers, classmates, etc. assume I’m in my mid-twenties or so by my maturity. I was 18 when we met and I think he felt a bit like a dirty-old-man when my age came up in conversation on our first date. I was naturally concerned about what my family would think when I brought home a (great!) guy older than either of my protective older siblings, but he quickly won everyone over. Huzzah!

My fiance is almost six years older than me, which is the perfect age diff for us. We’re on about the same maturity level (OK, maybe I’m a tad more mature than him even though he’s older!) Age is honestly never an issue for us. I think people just assume we are the same age b/c we look like it and act like it. It only sucks for me when people assume I’m over 30 even though I’m only 25!

My husband-to-be is just under 8 months younger than me, but we were born on the same year. Like some others, we were college sweethearts, and have gone through some major life changes together. I do sometimes wish that he was a little bit more "mature", but I’m sure that he could say the same thing about me ๐
linzella, the months between my birthday and his are torture! He constantly teases me about being a "cougar". Also, it kind of makes me sad that I will be the first one to reach the age milestones…I’m not sure how I’ll handle 40 ๐

We’re the same age, but thanks to the cutoff in NJ, Mr. MagPie was a year behind me all through school. So, at about four months younger, he’s constantly getting ripped on for me having "robbed the cradle." ::rolls eyes::
