I am getting married this sunday, and bloat quite easily. I’ve loked up a few articles, but am curious what others chose to eat on their big day? (Or what you are planning on)
I am getting married this sunday, and bloat quite easily. I’ve loked up a few articles, but am curious what others chose to eat on their big day? (Or what you are planning on)
No breakfast.
My DH and I got suites in the same hotel so for lunch, my planner picked up sandwiches from a nearby deli for us and our bridal party.
Water water water water! Im not married yet but I’m so scared of getting bloated too! Probably something with whole grains and protein like a grainy slice of toast with almond butter and sliced bananas would keep you full but not bloat your belly.
I plan on avoiding dairy, eggs and added sugar bc I know those bloat me.
Do you know what makes you bloated? I avoides those things a couple of days before. Oh and EVERYTHING makes me bloated hahahaa
Fiance wants to host a waffle bar at the venue (villa) for the bridal party lol. I don’t actually bloat easily, but I WILL be drinking, so hopefully a good base will keep from any ill effects of that!
I had a fruit salad from starbucks and an iced coffee. Maybe the coffee wasn’t a good idea but I didn’t care. I brought greek yogurt but had no appetite to eat it, I was too excited.
protien bar is what I had. No bloat. no carbs or sugar for a good week before you get married.
For breakfast, we had croissants with butter and jam. I only ate about half of one because I was feeling so stressed lol.
A few hours later, my step mother put out a spread of stuff for us all to nibble on throughout the morning and into the afternoon before we left for the venue. There was fresh fruit, cheese, dips, crackers, finger sandwiches, deli meats. It was nice being able to pick at things as we rushed past instead of trying to find the time to sit down and eat.
I had a lovely French puffed bread with apricot marmalade, two eggs made perfectly over medium, two pieces of bacon, a delicious café latte with almond milk, a glass of orange juice, and a glass of champagne.
Then while getting my hair done, I had an iced coffee with coconut milk.
And for lunch, I ate half a tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwich with a glass of champagne and berries floating in it.
Ceremony was at 4pm.
I get hangry if I don’t eat.
Pretty sure I had a bowl of cereal, but I’m struggling to remember… The whole day was a blur.
I would stick with no dairy and no gluten, so perhaps just have gluten free toast with peanut butter and banana – that is filling and will give you energy to keep you going all morning.
I did eat about a third of the lunch at our reception. Didn’t get a bite of cake. We had some people back to the house after and ordered pizza, which I ate one slice of. The next day I think I ate everything in sight.
