Lol following your list would make me want to just throw myself out of the window! I did do my own makeup and here’s my list:
lip gloss (a red shade that is very close to my real lips)
eye shadow (3 shades, came in a container that told me what to do)
no blush – my face is naturally ruddy
ETA – nails were orange, color change to brown if cold (only b/c that was the only orange available where I was taken… first mani/pedi ever). Downside, it was cold! haha
umm yeah, done! And all my pics look absolutely fine – there’s too much fuss and pointlessness in makeup land, IMO.

I did my own makeup… Well, my bridesmaid helped when my hands were shaking, haha!
I just had my usual at the time:

Nice list. Sounds like your eyeshawdow will be very beautiful also.
I only make 1 recommendation you may want to be interested in… ELF $2 and or NYX glitter glue $7. These are both very good, have great reviews and are cheaper than ‘too faced glue primer’
It is also popular to apply gel eyeliner (your color choice) in waterline followed by patting eye shadow of the same color on top. Many feel this prevents eyeliner from moving for many hours.
ajbates So very pretty… Love makeup revolution shadows. Good stuff.

I’ve used the same tutorial!!!!

I think I’ve got the look pretty well down, but thanks! I don’t use liners in my water line, and I’ve already got glitter glue-but I ,too, have heard that the elf and NYX ones are great!

Sounds very pretty. The ‘tarte shape tape concealer’ is also getting rave reviews. Think they have samples of it at sephora and ulta.
I’ve been curious to try the ‘Monistat Anti-Chafing gel’ for primer.

I did my own makeup even though I’m not very good at it! It turned out totally fine, and I like the way I look in our non-pro photos. I used the following products:
Laura Mercier — Oil-free primer (already owned)
Make Forever HD Liquid Foundation
Marcelle (drugstore brand) concealer (already owned)
Kat Von D translucent setting powder
Becca – highlighter in moonstone
Josie Maran Watercolour Blush in Poppy (already owned)
Marcelle (drugstore) Bronzer/contouring powder quad (already owned)
Urban Decay All-nighter make-up spray
YSL lip tint & gloss
Partial synthetic eyelash set
Synthetic eyelash black mascara (already owned)
Clinique Pretty Easy liquid eyeliner (already owned)
impulsive dash of urban decay moondust eyeshadow (already owned)
Other than the impulsive dash of eyeshadow and eyeliner that was a bit thicker than I had wanted, it was all good! I spent around ~200 CAD which is a lot less than local MUAs charge for trials + day of makeup. Plus I didn’t have to tip which can be a big expense, and I didn’t have to worry about not liking it. I’m happy that I have added a few new makeup products to my routine too! I say go for it!

Oh, I also got a gel manicure in ‘my vampire is buff’ (OPI) which I absolutely love. 🙂
