mrsbliss:  eh the email STD doesnt bother me. But the price does. I wouldnt be going. Thats just ridiculous. Family or not.

If it were my sister gettig married, i would have to say id go, but it wouldnt only be me going, not my husband and child bc thats too much money

mrsbliss:  wow that’s so pricy my Future Brother-In-Law is getting married in PR at the end of the year but my Future Father-In-Law is paying for us other wise we wouldnt be able to go because it’s around 2000 pp but ihonestly ppl need to understand that if they have Destination Wedding people might not be able to come

I assume that includes airfare (most Canadian costs usually do). I know I’m in the minority here but everything is more expensive from Canada and also because I assume you are talking Canadian dollars too. That said, it does seem a little high for the time of year. There’s absolutely no way I would miss my only sibling’s wedding personally. For me the time of year and costs wouldn’t be a deal breaker but I wouldn’t be willing to go to DR due to zika.

mrsbliss:  Stay somewhere else and get different flights. Tell them that it is too expensive for you but you would like to still come and request they get you a day pass for their wedding.

If they are unwilling to get you a day pass then your answer is clear. Oh heeeeeeeeell no.
