After a little bit of reserach, I decided to order some FertilAid, basically because it has all of the same vitamins as prenatals, with a few added herbs to promote fertility. I got it in the mail today and took my first 3 pills. Of course, then I was doing some more research and I came across a forum with people saying it totally whacked out their cycles and FertilAid is only for people with irregular cycles. (Mind you, I have a perfect 28 day cycle and ovulate on CD16.)
Honestly, I just took it with a grain of salt–simply because first off, who knows what those ladies’ cycles were like before and secondly, I had never been to the forum before.
Have you used FertilAid? If so, what did it do to your cycle (please include what your cycle was like before and during the use of FA.)
If I see a bunch of negative responses, I’m not going to take any more pills!

@Wed2Attn: I am on my 2nd month of taking the FertilAid supplements. I have regular 29-30 day cycles and it hasn’t changed my ovulation day at all. I am taking the Fertile CM supplement as well as the FertilAid (and drinking FertiliTea) and I’ve definitely noticed a lot more EWCM this cycle. They say it takes about 3 months of the supplements to get the full effect.
Other than the EWCM, I haven’t noticed any other changes to my cycle.

@MrsFarmer: Well this makes me feel better! I’m hoping it’s my lucky month and I only have to take them for about 3 more weeks, but we’ll see! Your response definitely makes me feel more positive!

I took FertityBlend for Women from GNC, not FertilAid. I’m not sure if the ingredients are the same, but here’s my experience with a fertility vitamin:
I’d been TTC for about a year when I started taking them. My cycles were completey regular, and I usually O’d around CD 9 0r 10, somtimes 12, 13. I began with the recommended 3 vitamins per day. I noticed that my EWCM had completely dried up. I usually had EWCM right before my smiley face on OPK. This time, no ovary pains or usual signs of ovulation/ (in fact, I posted here on WB panicked about it, I bet you can search history) so I looked up “horror stories” and saw that it wacked cycles out. So after 9 days, I stopped. Was convinced I blew my cycle. CONVINCED.
And then got a BFP. 🙂 So, I guess it worked??? Can’t really be 100% sure because I only took it for 9 days, but I’d been TTC a year and finally got a bfp.
