Also, I love sparkling water with lemon or lime. I buy them in cans and they are a great alternative to soda. No calories, just carbonated water with a dash of lime or lemon juice.
frozen grapes are a great snack in summer!
I basically avoid pasta and limit my rice. I use more beans, lentils, and oats.
I try for a 50% leafy/green veg, 25% protein, 25% starch on very plate.
I snack on carrots and fruit, especially citrus.
I track all my calories, allow treats, and do light exercise (jump roping or a my exercise chart) for about 10 mins a day.
