oh wow we like…
Gummy Tummy Penguins, the carmel chewy waffel cookie things, This fig walks into a bar, rainbow’s end trail mix, white cheddar corn puffs, garlic fries, roasted frozen potatoes, fake beef strips… I am sure there is more that we love, but I cant think of more…

Oh how I love TJs! The WINE is my fav. But I also love their whole wheat cous cous, tomato soup, hummus, and their packaged salads (Pasadena Chicken salad is my favorite).

Oh and the sweet potato chips! Yum.

I would kill for a Trader Joes in the Quad Cities! As it is, we hit the one in St Louis when we visit my FIs brother every 3 months, or if he has a meeting in Chicago, he will stop there for some of my favorites. #1 is cheese. A big block of parmesan and a block of asiago. Then coffee. I love Trader Joes coffee. I also love the potstickers in the frozen food section. Those are addictive. Plus gotta get some 2 Buck Chuck (although, last I saw I think it was like $3.99) It’s not bad wine and I cook with it all the time! I also love their salsas and chips and their italian pesto, and marinara sauce. Devine!

- Wedding: September 2010 - Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery
This thread is awesome!! I love their:
– BBQ Chicken Salad
– Non-fat Frozen Yogurt
– Sliced almonds (awesome on oatmeal!)
– Corn salsa (it has no tomatoes in it, and is great on eggs!)
– Big beans in a jar
– Israeli cous cous
– Fancy Berry Blend (frozen)
– Milk chocolate crisps (addictive!)
-Duchess tea (like Lady Grey)
– Pizza Olympiad (frozen)
And that’s not even half of it! I LOVE TJs!

Wow, I used to work at TJ’s years back, and still shop there regularly, and you all are still turning me on to some great new things!
For me the staples are:
Coffee (Dark roast)
Tea (Early Grey and Peppermint, the Peppermint is awesome for sun tea)
Frozen chicken tenders
Dairy staples – Free range eggs, milk, butter, etc…
Cereal and cereal bars
Rice and Whole wheat pasta
Joe Joes (the peppermint ones during xmas rock!)
Pita Chips- sea salt and cinnamon sugar
Wine wine wine
Fiance is a total beer snob and he likes their beer dept a lot.
I do buy fresh produce there quite a bit, but I can get it cheaper at other local produce shops in my neighborhood. I just am too lazy to shop at multiple stores. 🙂
Not to be weird or go off topic, but if anyone is looking for a part time job, they are an awesome company to work for. Great benefits and they treat their employees fantastically.

Trader Joes is the best!!
SOME of my favorites:
Temptation Trail Mix
Stevia (pure in containe with little scoop)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (best prices)
Chocolate Croissants (freezer section)
Tri colored cheese tortelli (It is in a bag in the pasta/pasta sauce aisle)
Honey pass the chex mix (It’s going in our Out of Town bags!)
Everything pretzels slims (FI favorite!)
Their cheeses are pretty awesome
And of course their wines!! 🙂
They used to have these coconut macaroons that were incredible- they no longer carry them. That makes me sad.

Oh, that reminds me I have a gift card from Christmas I need to use!!
Birahni (yummy curry rice with raisins)
Curried Nan (in the fresh bread section). This is amazing!! We buy those 2-3 at a time.
Cheese Enchilada Meal (Freezer)
Manikopita (like above but with mushrooms)
Cheese, cheese and more cheese
24 Karat Cake
Hummus (the Tuscan White Bean is delish!!)
Pear Cinnamon Cider
The single bottle beer section. This is a great way to try out different brews without buying a whole 4/6 pack.
I’m sure there’s more I’m missing, but I am starting to drool think about this.
Their kettle corn and white cheddar popcorn.
The frozen veggie lasagna.
Definitely 3 buck chuck

Don’t worry I am 2 hours away from one also but I always have to stop when I am close to one.
My fave things so far have been their chile spiced mangos in the dried fruit section, the light kettle corn and the caramel corn. Yum to all of those. But I have a couple other things I have purchased just have not eaten it yet.

We always try to have their frozen naan stocked in the freezer (garlic and regular!) I think we have five packages right now? Make a hearty lentil soup and the stuff is to die for!
We also just tried their boxed cornbread and were pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was.
Their sparkling sodas are great too!

Thank you for this list! I found out just the other day that there’s a TJ’s about 2 hours from me… and by the closest mall… so I’m planning on heading there next paycheck 🙂 (Too bad they don’t sell alcohol in this one 🙁 )
