My Fiance saw this ring from tiffany, it was the ONLY ring he liked out of everything he tried on. So since he got me exactly what I wanted, I did the same for him. It is a 6mm double milgrain ring in platinum from tiffany.

racheltea: I don’t know how guys pick our rings on their own either!
I’ve noticed the photos of mens bands on here are mostly decorative styles as opposed to your standard silver style, I wonder if this is more common in certain areas? or maybe certain cultures? Every guy I know who is married has a simple plain silver band (varied widths) and i’ve found it really interesting to see all the different styles out there!

I can finally post on this thread! My husband’s lame camera wasn’t uploading for the longest time….Anyway, it’s a white gold band with a yellow gold inlay. It says “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine” in hebrew. I absolutely love this ring. I used to have a matching one until I lost it. That’s why I’m now wearing a plain gold one from KMart

I live in NYC and see lots of plain yellow gold _skinny_ rings on guys. Like, 3mm skinny. The look is very elegant. If I were you & since he likes silver-color, I would go with platinum, 3.5 mm with milgrain detail on the edges. Or a braided multi-color band (yellow, plat, rose gold).

My Husband really wanted a ring that had a celtic knot design. He found this white gold ring while he was getting fitted for his kilt:
He also wears a Tungsten Carbide ring from Zales when he is at work (He’s a Stagehand at the Barclays Center Arena and tends to bang up his hands alot)

My fiance is having one custom made (although it isn’t that uncommon I don’t think, he just couldn’t find exactly what he wanted and decided to get his through the same jeweler I got my engagement ring/will be getting my wedding bands from). His will be platinum with an 18k yellow gold inlay, 8mm(ish), comfort fit, not round on the outside with grooves around the yellow gold.

My fiance’s rosewood and titanium ring. It’s pretty thick and fairly rugged. Spexton has an Etsy, though we went to their shop and bought from there. They’re very reasonably priced, nice and do a great job.

Love reading about all the unique rings the men wanted!

Fiance has known exactly what he wants from day one- he’s been planning this ring like we do our erings! Custom design 7mm hammered finish in white gold with stepped edges. With his size 13 fingers we were relieved to get our jeweler to do it for 500$. Every other quote was well over 1k. I really want to match my band to his, but I’m not sure that will work for us. This is just an inspiration pic until the real one is ready.

Fiance insists on a black band and is obsessed with baseball… so when I found this I knew it was perfect for him. He loves it!
