Ours was a long, closed mouth kiss. No church tongue ๐Ÿ˜›

Long enough (but closed mouths) for the photographers not to miss the first kiss lol

We’re not big into PDA, so it’ll be lingering, but no tongue. Tongue is for home.

    Ours will probably be goofy.
I’m thinking throwing my bouquet and jumpin in his arms goofy ๐Ÿ˜‰

@renwoman:  I hope to give him a whopper of a kiss and then give him a hip thrust or two. We’ll see what my dress will allow. I’m ok horrifying the crowd and my groom. ๐Ÿ™‚

@renwoman:  I voted ‘lingering, closed mouth ‘, but we keep joking that we will do the wedding kisses from that 30 Year Old Virgin reality show. The couples on the show have never even kissed before their wedding, so that first kiss tends to be a little bit, um, ENTHUSIASTIC. Haha

I really have no idea. I guess we are going to wing it!

defs a lingering closed mouth kiss, we’ve already practiced, ‘kiss for 3 seconds so the photogs catch it and then back in for a cute quick peck!

I voted lingering, but closed mouth. I’m still not sure how I feel about kissing in front of everyone, but FH and I are private people and we aren’t into PDA.

I am gonna grab him, pull him in and lay one on him, after a few seconds I am gonna take off his cowboy hat and put it in front of our faces, cute photo opp ๐Ÿ™‚ He will most likely try to get a little carried away so the hat will cover it up lol

@Missy_Star:  That’s what we were thinking when we practiced – “make sure it is long enough that the photographers can capture it, but not so long it grosses out the guests!”  I was super against any tongue or anything, it just makes me feel uncomfortable when other couples make out at the alter!

    Fun topic…

First Marriage (circa 1980) and two crazy early 20 year olds… lol, that “You can kiss the Bride now”… moment was probably too long and mushy.  Not tonsil licking stuff… but it was probably somewhat PG rated.  No one has ever said anything, but I imagine the older relatives had their tongues wagging at the time.

This time round… Mr TTR & I tend to kiss pretty regularly in public, but they are closed lip smooches… or a peck & go kind of thing.

We actually have several pics in our Wedding Photos of us kissing…

The obligatory “sealed with a kiss” one… a true smooch.  As well as a few others, where I think we just spontaneously did so (quick pecks)… I think we were just so darn happy & excited, they just naturally happened.
