OPI Barefoot in Barcelona. I was wearing it when I got engaged (not coincidence ;)) and I find it tends to be lovely and unobtrusive, so perfect for showcasing the ring.

futurephdbee:  I’ve been in love with OPI bubble bath since I saw Giada DeLaurentis wearing it on food network like 5 years ago lol!  I actually messaged the show to ask them what color it was haha!

it takes a few coats to get a nice solid shear color but it’s so beautiful and clean looking 🙂

OPI: Mimosas for Mr. And Mrs., Let me Bayou A Drink

Essie: Vanity Fairest, Nude Beach, Peak Show

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy: Beginners Luck, Card Shark

And a random one: Dr.Marvey’s Nail Cure. It’s a nail treatment that is also in a very sheer pink so you get double the benefits.

I’m a fan of Essie Mademoiselle. I think it all depends on your skin’s undertones though.

Another vote for Essie Ballet Slippers. Can’t go wrong with that.

cyntharella:  Vinylux is by CND, it’s their 7-day polish (I usually get 4-5 depending on how well I put it on as I’m really not careful with my nails) but it air cures quickly rather than needing the UV light. I know you can get a longer wear out of Shellac (which cures under UV) but I’m really not a fan of what it does to my nails and therefore only used it once.

OPI Otherwise Engaged… which I bought & wore through my whole “waiting” period. 🙂 It was on my nails when he proposed. I’m 6 months married now and will probably be buying another bottle soon. I still love it.

This is 2 gel coats of OPI bubble bath and most likely what I’m using on my wedding day 🙂

cyntharella:  You’re hilarious! I did the same exact thing when I felt that a proposal was coming (my fiancee knew that I wanted to get engaged at Christmas-time & after he found his dream job–which happened last fall.) I made sure my nails looked perfect at all times, hahaha.

My personal favorite nude is from Rimmel London (plus their nail polishes are always longest-lasting for me–it’s such a “small” nail polish company, but I love them.) Google Rimmel London nude nail polish and you’ll come across all sorts of photos/swatches. Some are creamy & glossy, some have a little sparkle, some are lighter-hued, some darker–they’ve got options!

OPI Barefoot in Barcelona or Dulce de Leche. I love and own Bubble Bath but such pale colours aren’t as flattering to my skin tone as colours with more pigment.

rosegoldcoloredglasses:   Same, I like 3-4 coats of it with no base or top coat.
