Thanks for the feedback!
I don’t imagine there will be pictures of me, and I’m not trying to dress to impress, just curious what everyone else found most comfortable. I think I’m going to pack my loose maternity yoga pants, a nursing tank, and a maternity sundress and just wait and see how I’m looking/feeling.

I had heard to bring a dress because pants won’t fit over the diaper like pads you have to wear, so I brought a loose tank dress from old navy. I did wear it for part of the day at the hospital, but mainly I wore trackpants and tshirts (I had no trouble wearing pants). I did try and pick older ones instead of my favorites in case there were ‘accidents’.

I wore a dress home because I had stopped bleeding anyways, I was in for 5 days after the c-section (back in 1986, they kept you that long!)

I was in a different situation because my baby was in NICU when I was released, but I basically wore yoga pants and tanks for quite a while post-pregnancy.

@flamingred: Thank God….My sentiments exactly.
This thread makes my b/p rise…..I am FULLY plnning on going home in my pajamas. They will be cute pajamas and I guess I’ll change out of my slippers into some shoes (maybe). I can’t imagine doing much else.
When I get home: then i’ll shower and get a little more presentable but there won’t be ANY pics leavin the hospital except of baby.

Comfy, comfy, comfy! Whatever you find is the most comfortable. I had a pretty rough delivery, and was very thankful for the comfy clothes I had to wear. Kudos to any of you who wore jeans….I couldn’t even tell you when I was able to wear jeans again! 😉

I would wear some really comfy sweatpants and depending on the weather – a tank-top or a zip hoodie. That outfit just screams: I am so comfortable. When I am traveling long distances I also dress this way, dress for your comfort.
