My FI is wearing a regular tie and vest.  I really wanted him to wear what he wanted and I like what he picked out, but I would have liked to see him in a bow-tie and cummerbund!

My FI hates cummerbunds so that was out from the start.  We’re doing vests and regular ties.

My husband (and his groomsmen) wore a suit, vest and regular tie.  It was a little unusual but didn’t look odd at all.

The boutonniere on the other hand, not the color I would have picked but whatever.  Not important and it was made with love.  🙂

i love the vest and tie look. FI wants a long coat with a mandarin collar with a vest and tie all in black with a white shirt. I wanted him to wear a regular white coat with black bow tie, but his selection is very nice!

I let him pick whatever he wanted. He got a “Fancy” purple vest with a purple bow tie and “plain” purple vests with purple bow ties for the GM (my dad will have the same vest with a long black tie). He was going to put the ushers in the same purple vest and black full ties, but I vetoed that one since my dad would wear the same thing. Now the ushers will have black vests and black long ties.

we liked the bow tie idea. but the waiters will be wearing bow ties, so hahah I don’t want my hubby looking like a waiter.

Black tux with cummerbund + bowtie for ceremony and vest + one of those puffy things that aren’t a tie but I can’t think of the english word for right now. 😉 This will all match the red on my dress.

Hah, just remembered the english word…Ascot!

My FI is wearing a tux with a bow tie, and no cummerbund or vest. He says it’s more comfy that way, lol.

tux, vest and regular tie. FI said he didn’t really understand cummerbunds, and I’m not a huge bow-tie fan. I figured that it would be much more comfortable for the guys as well.
