I think center is .60 and the total is around 1-1.20 carats. I like the diamond very much. If I’m honest the setting takes away from the beautiful center stone. The prongs are very thick and the diamond is almost squeezed.

I think the stone size is fine but the setting overwhlems the stone.

I’m going to guess the center stone is around .25 carats and the total carat weight is about .50 , the center diamond looks like it’s great quality but I think the setting overwhelms it a bit

I think it’s about 1/2 ct, which I think is a fine size for a ring (mine is 1/2 carat).
A thinner/more delicate band might show off the stone more, but I think it’s a very nice ring. What do you think?
Eta: I think the centre stone is 0.5ct. TCW is maybe just under a carat?

isabel49 : It looks like a nice diamond and ring in general, but I do not like how big the prongs are. I think they take away from the lovely center stone. If i had to guess I would say the center stone is around .60 ct.

I would guess the center stone is a .50 and the tcw 1.75.
The first two pics make the band/setting look bulky but after seeing the last few pics, face up, I think it looks lovely on you.

I’d say .4-.5 carat stone? It is beautiful but I agree that the large prongs take away from your center stone!

I agree that the setting and prongs dwarf the centre stone…I would guess the centre stone is about .5 but it looks smaller in that setting, particularly in the last photo.

I think about .30-.50 🙂 lovely ring

I estimate a little under half a carat. I agree with other posters that the setting overwhelms the stone and probably makes it appear smaller than it really is.

0.4. It looks a little smaller than my center which is 0.5. My fingers are around the same size.

About .3? Could be bigger but the setting makes it look small.
Not my taste at all but that’s irrelevant! Do you love it? And why does the carat size actually matter??
