Love my hair! I just wish I were a bit more invested in making it look nice–lots of days I just wear a cute styled pony that takes 5 minutes, rather than actually blowing it dry and styling it. Also, I’m getting 10 inches chopped off to donate right after the wedding!

@Barbiestylez:  That’s the wand I use! Love it! I don’t use it enough though, so it’s collecting dust right now lol

@letigre:  Thanks for the tips, I have to check that blog out! I’ve been looking to change my shampoo/ conditioner so this seems like a good time to make the switch.

@Barbiestylez:  Thank you! Since your hair looks so sick, I’m buying that wand right now.

@IzzyBear:  At this point.. I have no idea how I’ve lived so long without a wand!

I sswear my hair does something different daily.  Like I cannot get my bangs to swoop consistently from day to day.  I MUST apply some kind of heat or iron to it or else it will be very frizzy and bad texture.  I hate that about it.

Here is a good day.  It is longer than it appears.  I get subtle highlights to hide the grey.  I am 37 after all.

BABIEEEES!  My niece and nephew, 5 weeks apart.

Another good day.  These both were taken in Indiana.  My hair is much more flat and blah here in Utah where the humidity is like 10%.

I like my hair because I have awesome natural color – platinum but I wish my hair was less fine.

Love my hair, hate the colour, i really need to do something with the colour. It is currently its natural blah mousey brown colour (hate it), i generally dye it but it has been awhile.

I have a love hate relationship with it.  It’s very curly.  But at least its medium sized cork screws.  I have tons, just tons of it, but the individual strands are very fine.  It straightens nicely but I’m usually a condition and go kinda girl. I let it air dry everyday.  I only shampoo it 2x a week, max, just conditioner and treatment on the other days.

In my profile photo I threw some gel in it, ran around in the rain all morning while it air dried (eventually) to put together last minute centrepieces for an event.  Then I came home, dressed, pulled it up into that messy style, put on some make up and left for the event 45 minutes later.  Everyone assumed I’d spent all day at the salon.  No, no time for that!  Curly girls are lucky.

I’m back to blonde.  The big gripe is the cost to maintain my highlights… my hair grows FAST.  I get about 3 – 4 weeks before I want to have them done again.  I usually try to stretch it to 6 weeks, but the last 2 weeks my hair drives me nuts.

I used to love my hair, this year I kind of hate it. It’s decided that it refuses to hold a curl for longer than an hour 🙁 It used to be that anything I did to it would stay until the next wash. BUT, it’s thick and full and I like the color so I guess I’ve still got that.

@Barbiestylez:  Be careful about that 3 in 1 wand. I went to the link you gave and it’s not a Nume wand. I was reading the reviews and people were saying it’s a knock off and the product didn’t last long. :/
