How much did you find those for?? I’ve seen them in stores and they seem pretty expensive. I’d think you better off to go Goodwill hunting! You could find some more ornate candelabras and then weave crystal/glass strands into them.

@Bellagiobride:  I really like those! You could even switch it up, and alternate between votive candles and flowers where the cupcakes are supposed to be, instead of doing all flowers. Have you thought about spray painting the stand black and using white and yellow flowers to make a statement?

I think flowers and/or candles where the cupcakes go would be great!

@Bellagiobride:  Black would def. make a statement! If you’re set on pearls maybe you could drape a few off those little cupcake spots but alternate them again. So the ones with the flowers would have draped pearls, and the ones with the candles would be bare ?

I would use candles in keeping with your chandelier theme. You can drape pearls/crystals.

They don’t look whimsical at all to me. They remind me of vintage French chandeliers

You can add flowers at the base.

Honestly I would do cupcakes and have them dressed with gumpaste flowers like so:

But then I saw these which aren’t necessarily what you were looking for but to cute not to share:

I love edible centerpieces LOL
