sscott06 :  I love the stone accents in your house. The floral and plant decor adds a nice touch too.

lovelyruby :  You have a good eye for color coordination and bringing it all together. 🙂

My house pretty much looks like an IKEA catalog. Even the stuff that isn’t from there has an IKEA vibe lol. I like clean lines, concrete floors, no clutter, and lots of gray.

sscott06 :  that’s gorgeous! I love the gold mirrors!

quantumleap48 :  Aqua and navy are the only colors Darling Husband doesn’t complain about haha. I know it’s hard to tell, but the wall in the dining room is navy. I love the “freshness” of Aqua!

isabellep :  thank you!! I snatched it up from homegoods.

sscott06 :  where’s the second headboard from? I’m still on the search for the perfect one.

also, funny that you’re from Texas. As soon as I saw the first picture I said to myself-“that looks like it would be a house in Texas” haha.

mrshomemaker :  I love your style! The chair, the shower curtain and most importantly that gorgeous voile hanging at the window. Where did you get it? I’m in the UK but if I can get my paws on it I will!

ksn1219 :  Your pops of colour are gorgeous. I’m swooning over your KitchenAid!

We just moved in May so we’re trying to get things together with what we have and not spend too much. The vast majority of stuff we have comes from goodwill or homegoods or craigslist.

We’re trying to do some British Colonial design. A little tropical, a little nautical, lots of dark wood.

mrs110 :  quantumleap48 :   isabellep :  Thank you ladies! I am so fortunate to have been able to design the kitchen I wanted! The previous kitchen was a dumpy nightmare. Faux wood laminate countertops with burn marks, cracked tile flooring (with two layers of laminate underneath we discovered!), wood paper cabinets that couldn’t be painted or saved, and a dead mouse in the lazy susan… And no island 😉 I actually really liked the brown tile backsplash, but it didn’t extend far enough and we couldn’t find tiles to match.

mrstea83 :  girl, yes! My husband ordered 5 boxes and 2 canisters while I was at work, so I’m glad it’s good haha. You should mix it with red raspberry rehydrate, it’s ahh-mazing!

We had our house built last year and the pictures are from last fall (getting excited to decorate for this year). I love our home and it matches our personalities/styles perfectly. The chair in the first picture has a sheet on it because that is our pup’s favorite place to lay to look out the window 🙂

I love this thread!  I love neutrals with pops of teal.  Also, the screened porch is my favorite place in the world to relax.
