I’m in Southern California – could someone explain to me this phenomenon of snow? Is it cold? Is that was snow cones are made of?

@JustLove25: O_o
You can have ALL the snow in my area! We have two feet of snow and then it rained. All I could think was, why do I live somewhere you can get snow and rain all in a three day span.
It does make for good ring pics, but I could use my snoopy snow cone machine for that π

@Lisa19609: If you don’t mind my asking what kind of stone that is, is it a white sapphire? It’s beautiful whatever it is, don’t get me wrong. π I love the icy look of white sapphires. π It may just be the lighting but it resembles a white sapphire in the pictures so being a white sapphire fanatic, I just
had to ask. π I have white sapphire RHRs and I love them. π

@lenabee: Sorry to disappoint you :/ it’s actually a diamond. It must be the lighting or reflection cuz it does look different than in person.

@Bridey77: Yup, same weather here. 2 feet of snow and then all night and all day today it poured!! It was so foul that I didn’t even go outside (I didn’t have work today).
Tomorrow I will try to get a snow pic of my ring!

@Lisa19609: LOVE your ring and congrats! It has engraving on it, right? Love that. I’m in MN, too. Plenty of snow to shoot pix in. :-/

@khaleesi: Oooooh!! Gorgeous ring and picture!! And I agree with a previous poster that your nail polish is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing a picture of your lovely lady with us.
@WannaBeeMrsB: LOVE this picture!! That rock is definitely “on ice”! LOL I think it’s such a cute idea to photograph it in the ice with the champagne bucket in the shot, too. And your ring is beautiful!! (I’m actually singing the word “beautiful” as I type, for more emphasis … but it’s pretty hard to translate that into keyboard clicky-clacks.

)
@Lisa19609: Congratulations on your engagement!!! Your ring is stunning. I love the detailing on the band, and I’m so happy for you!
@JustLove25: Ha, ha! I hear ‘ya on the snow thing. I’m originally from a warm climate, too. (S. Texas) I love snow and cold and all of the messiness associated with winter. Although, this year it has started to wear on me a bit. Today kind of looks like spring outside, although I don’t know how it feels. Still sick, so I haven’t ventured outside in two days.
@Bridey77: We had rain yesterday and the day before. It looks like our snow is starting to melt, although this just leaves soppy, soaking ground and tons of mud. With two dogs, my house is starting to look like I decorated in “designer muddy dog prints”. LOL!!
For all you folks in non-snowy climates, stick that ring in a bowl of ice or something and post away. I just love seeing the shiny-sparklies!! And I want to give a HUGE internet HUG to all of you guys for posting and chatting in this thread. It has seriously lifted my spirits. Thank you, thank you!
