I love basically everything.  I just really really love food.  Especially baked goods and briny olives and pickles.  There is only one thing that is like poison to me.

I passionately, and wholeheartedly loathe, despise, and hate…cilantro.  Even the smallest amount makes me gag.  And I can always taste even the smallest amount.  Yuck.  Whenever I see recipes that call for cilantro (and it’s so often some obscene amount like 1/3 cup) I throw-up a little in my mouth.  Other than that though, I’m a fan of everything! : )

I hate deep-fried food, buffalo wings, bleu cheese (gag), and orange juice (not technically a food but oh well).

I love basically any type of carb with any sort of melter cheese on it. I’m not picky–carbs+cheese=deliciousness. And I love random veggies that no one else seems to like–kale, swiss chard, beets, turnips, asparagus, arugula, spinach…

I LOVE all dairy and Orange Juice… Those are hard to live without even though I am lactose intollerant.

As for things I don’t like…Seafood. I can eat it if the fish is breaded or battered or the canned tuna, otherwise it is not going in my mouth. It isn’t one of those cases where I do like seafood because of what it is. It’s a case where I have tried many fish, crab, shrimp, etc. and just cannot get past the texture. Yuck!

@MissParis – I hate black licorice too!

I don’t really like a lot of meats…I used to, but stopped eating it about a year ago.

I don’t like onions, mushrooms, kiwi, sprouts, or cauliflower.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE coffee, frozen yogurt, almonds, tea, homemade mac-n-cheese with broccoli, my FI’s tofu parmesan (seriously the best ever) and almost anything else he cooks.

Canned peas and lima beans….gross. But I don’t mind frozen and fresh peas, especially snow peas.

Love me some sushi and seafood, I could live off it.  No coconut, mushrooms or sweet potatoes cuz I’m allergic. It works cuz hubs doesn’t like those things anyway

Things that I generally don’t eat or even keep in the house:

  • Mushrooms
  • Pasta
  • Soup
  • Gravy
  • Mayo

I think that’s it.  Maybe?  I have the weirdest set of dislikes, and no one understands how I live.  Easy, I eat all of their brussels sprouts and beets and peas and other crazy things.  And lima beans!

Eggs! WILL NOT eat them. Have never since I was little. My mom always tells people a story about when I was about 2 she ordered me french toast at a restaurant and I KNEW there were eggs in it and wouldn’t touch it. People always told me I’d like them when I was older but I still dont. Even the smell makes me sick.

I will eat almost anything. The exceptions are:

  • Mushrooms. I can eat them raw in a salad, but I don’t like them cooked.
  • Pickles. Any kind.
  • Dill
  • Yellow mustard (I’ve recently come around to brown mustard. I still don’t love it, but I can tolerate it.
  • Artificial raspberry flavor. I like fresh raspberries but raspberry flavored candies, liqueur, or anything like that makes me gag.

@ejs4y8:  Ack!  I don’t care for chicken n dumplings or mac & cheese, or a lot of other “comfort” foods, but somehow they end up taken care of in my list.  Usually they’re way too greasy.

@danadelphia:  I don’t care for raspberry flavoring either.  There’s something odd about it.  BF got me raspberry chocolates for angry-pink-heart-day and I felt kinda bad, but they turned out to be tastier than I expected.  Maybe it’s because Boyfriend or Best Friend gave them to me.  I don’t like banana or pineapple flavoring either.

oh man I’m a SUPER picky eater so the list of things I don’t eat is far far longer than the list of things I do… but I’d say the worst can’t-put-it-in-your-mouth-without-gagging foods for me are seafood (any kind), non-breakfast pork, or lamb. I have a really hard time with meats, clearly.

List of my most favorite foods: tomatoes (raw, cooked, whole, pureed, in any form except ketchup), pickles (dill), chicken fingers, chimichanga, mexican cheese dip. mm

I cannot stand peanut butter – it is a textural thing more than a flavor thing. I also hate nutella. I don’t like coffee with hazelnuts. And brussel sprouts are horrid.

I love CHEESE – cheddar, goat, blue(s), havarti, cream cheese, ricotta, and all other types of cheese 🙂

I don’t like nuts of any kind, and I’m not that into cheese (except melted american – MUST be melted).  I hate coconut, black licorice/anise and anything chocolate-flavored (like chocolate ice cream, chocolate pudding, chocolate cake – but I like straight up chocolate.  A LOT)

Favs include corn (especially corn-on-the-cob, we’re even having it at the wedding!!), peas, beets (Fi made me an entire meal of beets from apps to beet ice cream for dessert for my bday one year!), tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms (I’m not vegetarian but do have a mainly vegetarian diet…prolly around 75%), strawberries, imitation crab meat (love the real deal, too, but for some reason I like the fake stuff more), shrimp, my aunt’s homemade fuuuudge, …I could go on for awhile.  I really like to eat!!
