Thought it would be fun to put a spotlight on someone else’s rings for a change…mom’s! Or grandma’s, your sister’s, your BF, anyone else you love!
Unfortunately my mom’s rings were lost long ago, but I found this pic online that is very similar to hers from the 50’s. Have fun, bees, and let’s see those sparkles!

My mom doesn’t have ring pics like we do, but her wedding band is a 3 or 4mm yellow gold milgrain wedding band. E-rings aren’t a part of my parents’ culture, so she doesn’t have one.

What a fun thread! Here is my Mothers ring:

My Grandmothers ring, green garnet and diamond. I think it looks like Jackie-O’s ring:

My Great Grandmother’s ring, garnet and gold:

Another Greatgrandmother’s ring, opal and pink diamonds. Orginally it was opal and pearls:

I don’t have an actual picture of my mom’s set, but this one looks pretty much exactly like it. She has a 2.5 carat radiant cut diamond yellow gold and baguette 3 stone engagement ring with a matching baguette cut out band. This is not her original set, this was an upgrade she got a few years ago. She originally had a yellow gold round brilliant diamond solitaire somewhere around 1 carat with a plain yellow gold band.

futurejewell2017: Brushed platinum wedding band. Her e-ring was the same with a .25 diamond. Very simple and delicate. Sadly, it was stolen from their home.

My mom’s original set (from when she married in 1963) looks exactly like this. When she passed away, it was given to me. It is so precious and dear to me. Over the years, she wore other sets, but I vividly remember being three, four, and five years old and being mesmerized by her glittering diamond. I’m positive that started my love affair with all things shiny!
