I love that! I grew up barrel racing so horses will always have a spot in my heart and I hope to get back into one day!

I know mine doesn’t look all that unusual, but the center stone is made with my grandfather’s ashes so that’s kinda out there lol.

Love your ring. It’s really quirky but not kiddy at all! I love people who have a style all of their own. I’m a bit of a quirky one at times!

I love this ring, but because I have both an engagement ring and a promise ring that I wear daily, it doesn’t come out much..

ksn1219:  I wish I had had my mom’s ashes made in to a stone. She threatened to haunt me if I did it, but now that she’s been gone a few months, I would give anything for her to haunt me. 🙁 I think its so cool that you have this.

Love the horse ring! How unique and perfect for you!

The one on the middle finger was my grandmothers. Not to give the finger to my grandmother! Oops. Just side by side comparison. I want to use it somehow but it is so big and scattered next to my ring. To big and looks like a wedding ring, for a cocktail ring and jewelers say it would look odd to take a stone to use for my wedding band. Sorry, I feel like such a brat complaining about this. I really miss her and want a way to honor her with her wedding ring now I’m getting married.

longtimemrs: thank you about my ring! I miss having them too! My pawpaw had to give them to my cousin before he passed because he couldn’t take care of them anymore and I’m at college. It’s such an expensive hobby! I jokingly asked my Fiance if he would buy me a horse after graduation and he said no, but he thought I asked for a Porsche. Pawpaw told him he’d be better off buying me the porsche haha.

MammaPants:  I love it! I only wear it on special occasions because it’s super fragile. He knew that I was doing it and would tell everybody haha. both of my parents were buried so I couldn’t do it with them, but I love the idea. Do you have any of your moms ashes?

I wear my grandmother’s antique wedding set on my right hand.

ksn1219:  I don’t have any of her ashes. She was adamant that I not keep any of her and that she all be in one place. I had her ashes spread from a plane over St. Augustine, her favorite place in the whole wide world. It seemed easier to do something far away where I can’t go and be sad. It was really tough coming to that decision. I wanted to put them on the mantle! I am coming to terms with it, but sometimes I feel like I should have made lots of selfish decision! I am an only child and my parents were divorced 25 years before my mom passed. I had no one else to please!
